Starting school
waking up on hearing the sound of a whistle and feet's running hurriedly on the wooden floor the girls made their way to the bathroom all together they had little time to go downstairs before they notice their absence
Hurriedly they took their bath together it was Emily's first time so she felt a little shy " don't worry you will get used to it very soon " Lisa said rushing out of the shower to brush her teeth . Rushing out of the bathroom and putting on their respective clothes they headed out to the big dinning hall sitting in their usual space they chatted in a low tone while they waited patiently for Miss Clara
On hearing her footsteps their male leader called from his sit " all rise " standing up from their sit they greeted Miss Clara bowing their heads " good Morning children how was your night ?" she asked walking majestically to her special reserved sit " it was fine our lady " they all chorused . Emily stood there trying to process what she had just heard " you may all sit " the male voice said again sitting down on their various sit Miss Clara stood up hitting her spoon on her wine cup to call everyone's attention when she was sure everyone was listening and the hall was dead silent she spoke " right now we would like to welcome our new guest Emily " she said gesturing for Emily to stand up , standing up with a smile on her face she received their welcome with an open and happy mind " and what would you like to say " she asked Emily smiling
" I don't actually have much to say but just want to thank you all for your hospitality and care for me I just hope I'll stay long here and be of good help to the once that help me and gave me a roof above my head" she said thanks " she continued sitting down with a bright smile on her face
" thanks for the speech we appreciate it a lot but right now we would have breakfast and after breakfast Mrs Thompson here would give you all your activities and tasks that you all have to carry out after your school hours am I clear " Miss Clara said plainly " yes " they all replied and sat down back on their sit to have breakfast " and Emily you would meet me after your meal " Miss Clara continued " when do school hours last or end to be precise ?" Emily asked curiously " we usually close classes by 2:00 p.m or 2:30 p.m " Rosa said sipping some tea " after that we carry out our various tasks " Lisa added
" don't worry you will be fine we all attend a same school here " Alisa said trying to cheer up Emily " what do you mean the same school ?" Emily asked surprised
" we don't all attend the same school but few of us do attend the same school but different classes " Jane corrected " oh I see " Emily replied giving out a long sigh of relief
After breakfast they all tidy up their respective space as usual and waited patiently for Mrs Thompson to give them their respective tasks
calling out the names of people in a particular group she gave them their respective tasks on getting to Emily's turn she looked at her and gave her a big devilish smile " Emily , Jane , Lisa and Harry all of you would do the dishes , sell out the leftover brownies, cakes and chocolate , clean up the kitchen and make sure it's sparkling clean and lastly do the groceries " Mrs Thompson stated clear " am I clear ?" she yelled at the top of her voice " yes ma " they replied as she stormed out of the hall looking over at Jane's side they both gave out a big sigh " not sure if we would make it to school today Emily " Jane said staring at Emily " that speech should be for Lisa not me I haven't started schooling yet " Emily replied smiling " guys I think we should get started already " Lisa said drawing up her sleeves " by the way where the hell is Harry ?" Jane asked looking around
" you mean Harry the Potter he is nowhere to be found " Lisa said picking up her plate
" where do you think Miss Clara would be ?" Emily asked Jane
" don't know maybe the garden it's her favorite spot " Jane answered picking up her plate too
" I'll caught up with you guys later " Emily said running along " you better be fast " Jane answered walking away as well
walking through the hall way Emily finally arrived at a very beautiful garden it was full of diverse kind of flowers walking around the garden Emily found a pond in the middle it was full with different beautiful flowers that grow in water " isn't it beautiful " a voice said from behind bring her back turning around it was Miss Clara " yes it is " Emily replied stealing a gaze at the pond the second time " sorry you got separated from your friend I know how you feel " Miss Clara said walking towards the pond . sitting on a wooden decorated bench she continued " you very well know that you will start school today right " Miss Clara said looking at Emily " yes ma I do " Emily responded nodding her head " very well then we would go register you today and you would start tomorrow " Miss Clara said lighting a cigarette " ok ma " Emily said " then you can go I'll send for you when I am ready to leave " She continued staring at the little golden fishes in the pond
Leaving the garden she headed towards the kitchen when she bombed into someone by mistake " oh my gosh am sorry " Emily said bending down as well to pick up the things that fell on the floor
" it's ..it's no problem " Harry stammered when he saw Emily's face she was quite a beauty long wavey dark brown hair , slightly brown pupils , pink thin upper lip and slightly plumb lower lip , perfect long eye lashes and a perfect slightly long nose she was indeed a beauty " am Harry " he was finally able to say after a long silence which looked like enternity
" am Emily it nice to meet you and sorry for hitting you " Emily said as she walked past him
" it's okay " Harry muttered slowly in whisper
On getting to the kitchen Emily parked up her hair and joined the other's in the kitchen in order to finish up quickly.
