In the year 2053, earth was struck with a mana surge from a failed scientific project, causing great magical calamities and mutations. 

The supernatural became the natural, magic became the norm. Advanced Civilisation had become extinct. While suffering through the invasion of races and the aggression of monsters originated from the mutation of animals. 

With this society who has progressed into the supernatural, how would a Young talentless man, with no power or magic, be able to survive?

What if, one day, he had a fortunate encounter with a system, a system which could not only adapt but evolve. Would he remain weak and powerless? Or would he adapt and become something… Bigger?

The Adapter's System

Loud screeches resounded across the desert.

With Alice on his back and Stella on his arms, Asper was currently sliding across the desert avoiding and staying away from the sounds.

Using the skill [Sand-Manipulation] Asper was currently propelling himself through the use of the sand. He had created a small sand-wave to carry the three of them.

From on outsider's perspective, it would have looked as if he was surfing the sand.

Asper suddenly made a left before changing directions to the right. He repeated this moving and it resulted in him moving in a zigzag pattern.

Following that, Sand worms suddenly erupted out of the ground, at the end of every turn he made. Fortunately, he had made the turn right before they had erupted, allowing him to avoid each and everyone of them.

His eyes moving left and right non stop as he hastily turned his head.
