Jonah nodded and did as Eden said, coming back in a pair of sweats and a UC Berkeley shirt as she was finishing up the last pancake. He sat down across from Troy as she placed a plate with three pancakes on it in front of him. 

"These have blueberries in them," he noted.

"Yeah, sorry if you were saving those for anything," she said a bit sheepishly. "I thought it would be a nice touch."

He flashed her a warm smile. "They couldn't have been used for anything better. I can't remember the last time I had blueberry pancakes. Thanks, Eden."

"Yeah, thanks," Troy echoed with his mouth full, causing his cousin to shoot him a dirty look that he ignored. "So, you guys doing anything fun today or are you going to lie around and do nothing?"

"We're going rock climbing with my best friend and her husband later," Eden told him.
