That's On Her Not You

Things calmed down a bit after the anniversary of the fire. Jonah was still distracted but Eden didn't blame him for it. She continued spending time with him like always. 

Aubrey was still skeptical of their relationship, which bothered her, but what could she do? Her best friend had noticed he was out of it at the Halloween party and had made more than one comment about how people with depression will always be difficult since. 

Eden knew her intentions weren't bad; she was simply worried. But after hearing about it for the third week in a row as they were having their usual girl time, she got annoyed and snapped. 

"Aubs! Anyone would be depressed around the anniversary of their entire family's deaths! Let it go," she huffed. 

Her best friend's eyes widened. "Sorry, I didn't know. That makes sense…"
