In Love with a Stranger

After a while, the topic shifted to people's jobs and Megan discovered that Eden had a crazy supervisor that she jokingly said she suspected was a mad scientist. She was certainly an entertaining storyteller.

"…and the first thing he said after my coworker commented on my ring and congratulated me was 'you aren't going on maternity leave any time soon, are you?' I shouldn't have expected anything less from him," she lamented.

Jonah laughed. "Well, this is coming from the guy that told you he was married to science and that you better not hit on him the moment you met. It honestly isn't that surprising."
