Once upon a time.. there was a family of baronets, the lowest ranking of nobles, The House Ludenberg.. and in the family, a girl named Weiz Ludenberg was born, she was a beautiful lady and was kind to all.. that is before a disaster had fallen to her.. I will now tell you a tale.. The Tale of Weiz Ludenberg... a tale that you won't hear in detail from somebody else... a tale where you will hear from her point of view..

July 27, 2000

In a certain room of House Ludenberg, there was a young girl who had turned 14 yesterday, was dressing up to her usual summer outfit, a white long sleeve blouse paired with a blue skirt and a summer hat and her hair tied up to a ponytail.

*tok tok tok*

Was that the door..? I wonder who was that..

"I'm coming!" I had shouted while walking towards the door from my mirror.

"Who is it..?"

"It's me!"

A woman in a white dress and blonde hair like mine appeared before me after I had opened the door.

"Si-sis Leah?!" I gasped in excitement, my sister, Leah Ludenberg who was always away, busy running her clothe shop in the capital of Kingdom of Valahorn, Hystoria, the city where most business are placed and the home of the royal family, The Rothschild Family. She rarely comes home to our house since the land that we govern, Arevos, is far from the capital, it would take a week or two just to get here.

Leah suddenly hugged me, "Sorry that I was late Weiz, Happy Birthday! I bought you a present!" she then reached for something in her pouch, a small white box was taken out from it. "Here! This is my present for you, Happy birthday Weiz!"

A tear had dropped from my eye.

"Wah-what's wrong..? Did I do something wrong..? Don't cry Weiz.." she then took out a handkerchief from her pouch in a panic and wiped the tears that had fallen from my eye. "Is everything okay Weiz..?"

"Yes.. everything is okay..! It's just that I missed you!" I had said then smiled, wiping another tear that had dropped from my eye. "That's good.. I thought you cried because I was late for your birthday," Leah had said in a joking manner. She still looks worried.. "Jeez.. I am not a child.. I won't cry just because of that!" Hopefully that will cheer her up.. "Aw.. and here I thought you had missed me so much that you would cry whenever you think of me.." she had said and then laughed. "Of course I missed you, I haven't seen you for months.. I was just really happy to see you again! Come- in my room sis!"

I walked towards the table near my window, and sat at my chair, "Have a seat!" Leah had then sat at the chair, opposite from me. "Your room hasn't change much since I was gone." she had said. "Well.. I guess you can say that I don't really need anything else aside from the things in my room?" I mean.. aside from the flowers in my vase that I sometimes change from time to time, there really is no need to change in my room.. "Well, it isn't a bad thing, anyways, why not open the present that I gave you!" Leah then put down the white box from earlier on the table and passed it to me. "Okay!"

I picked the small white box up from the table. I then, removed the blue ribbon that was wrapped on the box and opened it. Inside was a sapphire pendant and a card. I then read the card, "Happy birthday Miss Weiz Ludenberg from Leah Ludenberg!" it was a card made by my sister, but the design of it looks like.. it was from Hephaestus Crafts! The famous jewelry store in Hystoria, they are the jewelry store that makes really expensive jewelry.. did she buy the pendant from there?! I then put down the card on my table and took a look at the pendant closely. It was a Sapphire Pendant with an engraving in the gem.. "Weiz Ludenberg.. that's my name.. this looks so beautiful Leah, thank you!" I had said with a smile. "Put it on!" she had said in a happy tone. I did as what she had told me to do and put on the pendant but am struggling to hook it together, and out of nowhere, my sister had grabbed both ends and helped me hooked it together. "There! Do you like it..?" Leah asked me, "Of course I do, and I love it!" I'm a little worried.. if it really did came from Hephaestus Crafts.. then she must've had spent a lot on it.. "Sis.. I really love it.. Thankyou for this wonderful gift.. but please don't work yourself too hard.." I had said to her.. "If you loved it, then I am really glad and happy, don't worry, I didn't work myself to death, my business is really successful! And when I remembered that your birthday was coming, I had gone to a jewelry store and had commissioned a customized pendant, it is actually my design, that necklace, so I really am happy that you liked it!" she looks so happy when she had said that.. I guess that means there's no use in worrying about it for now.. but it really does look beautiful.. a sapphire that looks like a raindrop and silver as it's lace around it with my name engraved at the back.. "I asked for it to be made with sapphire and silver because it reminded me of your blue eyes and how you like to dress in white a lot.. speaking of which, you're outfit right now is exactly what I'm talking about! By the way, I also made some clothes for you!~ it is similar to what you are wearing and I made it so that it would suit your pendant. It is in our storage for now, make sure to look for it later.~" she had said with a smile on her face, I nodded and continued to look at the pendant.

"Oh! I just remembered.. mom told me to also tell you that we are going to eat, let's go now before we get in trouble." she had laughed after saying it. It's so like her to forget things like that.. I really missed my sister.. we both had left my room and went down to the dining hall.

"There you two are! Have a seat!" a man had said from the table, eating with a woman. They are my father, Liam Ludenberg, and my mother, Wendy Ludenberg. I walked towards the table and sat down, "Good morning father, mother." my sister also did the same. "Leah, how have you been? Are you doing well?" my father had asked, "I am doing quite well, my business has been doing pretty good. People keep buying the clothes I sell." Leah had said. "What's for breakfast?" I hope it's something good.. "Oh, as you can see, today's meal is Boar stew!" father had said while in a pose as if he was presenting it to me, it was quite funny. "How were you able to afford it? Was it because of Leah?" I asked, "Yeah! Totally me, were you surprise?!" She had said.... totally obvious that it wasn't because of you Leah.. "Hahaha, well, aside from that joke, how did we have boar stew as breakfast?" I asked father again. "Well, the hunters in the village manage to hunt 4 boars and decided to share it to everyone, they had sent one of the boars here, that's why today, we are gonna have boar related foods!" he said as he smiled, these little things sure are precious.. I smiled as well and said, "Oh, I am so excited for what mother is gonna cook for dinner!" my sister had shouted so suddenly. "You too sis?" she asked, "Of course I am, Mother is the greatest cook in our world!" that's right, no matter what they say, for us, mother will always be the best cook in OUR world. "Alright alright, calm down girls, I have something to say." father had said and put his serious face on, I tilted my head a little bit, I am quite curious as to what made father be serious.. "Sometime today, the House Rutherford's eldest son will stay here for a while, be sure to be ready to receive them as our guests, okay?" the son of the viscount Rutherford..? I wonder how he's like.. I have never actually met any other nobles aside from my family.. "The eldest son..? Why so suddenly?" Leah had said, as if she was curious as to why. "I don't really know, but please be nice to the guest later, okay?" father had said to the two of us, me and my sister had nodded in reply.

A few minutes later, we all had finished our meal.

"Few.. I'm full.." the boar stew was so delicious.. especially the potato.. I hope I won't get fat from this.. "Weiz, do you have any plans for today?" Leah had asked, I tilted my head while saying "No, I guess, I was just going to read a book in my room for today, why..?" I asked in reply. "Well, why don't we go to the village again like we used to do?" she had said, it's clear that she wants to.. I guess why not? "Sure! Just let me fix my hair again in my room and grab my hat." I said. "Okay, I will be waiting downstairs, just come down when you are ready." I nodded and had left the room and gone up to my room.

I guess I will just keep this ponytail on.. where's my hat again..? I looked around my room and saw it at the desk earlier, I walked to it and picked it up and putted it on and had looked at the mirror. "Not bad! This new pendant really looks good on me!" thanks again sis..

I had went down again to go to Leah.

"Leah! I am done! How do I look?" I asked her while twirling once. "Hm.. not bad! But not as beautiful as me!" she had said and then laughed. "Shall we get going then?" She asked. "Sure! Let's go!"

The path from our house to the village isn't that far but it is quite beautiful, the edge of the sacred forest on my right and the flower field towards my left. "The flowers look so beautiful, I wonder, were they planted by our family? These flower field looks like it was made just for us, The House Ludenberg always had blue eyes, don't you think so too?" now that she had said that.. I guess she is right..? "Maybe, but all I know that it looks beautiful." I had said. "Oh, isn't these flowers in your room too?" she asked while tilting her head a little. "You noticed that? Yes, it is the flowers that I currently display in my room for a while. I usually change it up every once in a while to change the mood in my room, so it won't look boring." i usually just shuffle between 3 flowers though.. "Say, Weiz, do you remember when we always try to go in the sacred forest but somehow we always end back from where we had started?" my memory about that suddenly went to my head and I laughed because of it, "Yeah, I remember when you would always run in and run back out, confused and surprised." I almost forgot about that.. "Oh I think I see the village!" she had suddenly shouted. She ignored what I said hahaha. My older sister sure still is silly. "Yeah, our house isn't that far from the village, but I think there is a commotion in the village, a lot of the villagers are gathered near the gate." I said while trying to see the village.

We arrived in the village, and like what I had said earlier, the villagers are gathered at the gate. I wonder what's happening.. "Shall we take a look?" I asked Leah, "Okay!" we approached the gate but we still could not see what was happening. I guess I should just ask someone.. I'll ask Frida then.. I looked around and saw Frida. We walked towards her. "Frida~ what's going on?" she jumped a little bit when I asked. "Jeez.. Miss Weiz, you surprised me.. Oh Miss Leah is here too! Good Afternoon.~" Frida bowed, "Please, rise up Frida.. I was just asking what was going on." I said while frantically panicked trying to raise her head up. "Oh okay then.. Well some fancy looking carriages had just arrived and we were curious as to who was on it.." fancy looking carriages..? Is it the House Rutherford's carriage..? And while I was thinking, the guards had shouted something.. "The Eldest son of House Rutherford has arrived! Please make way for them!" wait.. seriously.. Already?! "Weiz, let's hurry back, let's take our old shortcut, lets go!" Leah had suddenly grabbed my hand and ran. "Why do we have to go back?" I asked while trying to keep up with my sister in my outfit.. I mean how can she even run this fast even though she's wearing her dress. "We have to be at the house to greet them.. no, we must.." she had said. we must..? why..?

A few minutes later, we had arrived back at our home. My sister went inside in a hurry and shouted, "Father, they are here!" I'm tired from running.. it's a miracle how we are not sweating from all that running.. was my sister using magic..? While I was lost in my thoughts, father hurried towards the living room from upstairs, "Already?! Hurry, both of you get yourselves ready!" father had said and rushed back up. Seriously.. why are they panicking.. "Weiz, take the clothes that I had made for you in the storage room, and wear one of them, hurry!" she had said and then ran up stairs. "Why are they in such a hurry when they heard that they had arrived..? Oh well.. I guess I will just do what my sister had told me to do." I went to the storage room and grabbed the box where she had putted the clothes that she had made and went up to my room to change.

A few minutes later, we were all done dressing up and we were gathered in front of the house.. the carriages from earlier had arrived in front of our house. "Welcome to Arevos Honorable Louis Rutherford!" my father, mother, and sister had said and bowed. Just what is going on..?!
