It All Started With Hatred

When Patel calmed down a little, Lana checked on her wound to make sure that there was no infection and rebadged it. After that, she brought her a new set of clothes to change into.   


But when Lana asked her to come with her and give her a tour around the mansion, Patel refused and said that they should do it some other day but not today, She said that she wants to stay here in the room, Lana didn't push her, Understanding that the girl was still scared after what happened. 


In the afternoon, Alice came to spend some time with their new guest. Her mother had told everything about the Patel family and asked her to be careful to not mention anything about her until they found a way to tell her the sad news.


Patel watched as Alice wrote something on the notebook before she showed it to her.


"I always wanted to thank you for saving me that day." 


Patel smiled and took the pen from her and started to write her reply and showed it to her.


"No need to thank me, I did what I thought was right." 


Alice was about to write something when she heard a scratching on the door, She frowned and stood up.


Patel watched as Alice stood up and opened the door and was surprised to see a huge dog sitting in front of the room entrance. 


"I know it was you, Max." Alice said as she invited the dog to enter but Max instead bounced on her and started licking her face.


Patel watched as the dog continued to lick Alice's face while she tried to push him off her.


"Stop it." Alice said as she stood up and invited the dog In before she closed the door.


"This is our new guest, Max, I want you and your friends to be kind with her." Alice said, stroking the dog back gently.


Max let out a loud woofing sound as if he understood what was being said.


"Good boy, now go and make yourself familiar with her." Alice said and waited for Max to take a step towards Patel who was staring at him with a smile on her face.


Max continued to stare at the new guest before he suddenly started to walk towards her and stopped right Infront of her.


Alice smiled waiting patiently, She knew that dogs can sense people with disabilities, She stood there waiting to see what Max would do.


Patel wanted to touch the dog's head but she was afraid to do so. She had always wanted to have a pet, But her father refused. She couldn't stop looking at the dog's beautiful blue eyes.


Max suddenly jumped on the bed and started sniffing Patel. Seeing this, Alice knew that Max is already seeing Patel as a friend, So she decided to go to the bathroom to wash her face and leave these two to get to know each other. 


Alice took one last look at them before she closed the bathroom door, Leaving them alone, She only hoped that Max wouldn't overdo his reaction and bounce on the poor girl.  


New friend
