To Antarctica

"What is that?!"

A woman with white hair, white gloves, a white suit, and white tinted glasses stood on the other end of a warehouse. The entire place was empty except for a single metal box in the center.

Olezka walked up to the woman.

"Lada, inside this box is an immortal man."

"Wait the one on the call from yesterday? The one on fire?"

"Yup, and he's very intriguing. Probably the most interesting Immortal we've ever found."

"Wait wait wait..." Lada held out her hand pausing Olezka, "don't tell me the guys still on fire?"

"Yup. He's a True Immortal, not of the Five True Immortals of the Immortal Horses, but from a separate group, against them."

"And we're going to work with him?"

"Well, I made a deal. He'll help us out if we can cure his Eternal Flame, predicament."

"And how are we going to do that?" asked Lada.

"Don't know."

Lada tried to come up with something, "well aren't we opposite Burn Witches. So there should be something in the hidden texts explaining some secret power us Ice Witches hold against them."

"There is something, but that's long gone. Nobody can use that spell anymore. And the Eternal Flame is still stronger than Ice Magic or anything we could cast. It will just eat away at the victim until they die."

Bang-bang-bang!

Slam-slam-slam!

Damon smacked against the metal box.

Lada turned concerned, "don't tell me you didn't put any holes in there?"

"He's fine. And it's not like he could breathe beforehand. He's always on fire."

"That's not an excuse, brother."

Olezka walked up to the metal box. He unhinged one of the hatches opening it up to the open air.

Thump...

Damon fell out, his body crisp and burning, the blue flames raging higher and brighter than any flame he had seen before.

Olezka and Lada immediately jumped back, distancing themselves as far away from Damon as they could.

He stood up.

He spoke in a raspy voice, "I know of a way... I heard you speaking of Ice Witches... I don't know a lot about this Satan stuff, but I did go on a quest four hundred years ago, in search of the witch that cursed me."

"Are you saying this witch can get rid of the Eternal Flame?" asked Luda, stepping closer as the eternal flames dialed down.

"No, she... She doesn't exist on this world anymore... Well... I wasn't able to find her, but, I was able to find her home. It was a shack, the same place where I was cursed with immortality... It was the same exact hut... Except instead of being on Mt. Helvellynit it was in Antarctica."

"Antarctica?!"

"In this hut, there was nothing but weapons. Strange strange weapons. I took all of them and hid them in a bunker somewhere in Connecticut... But one of them... There was one I couldn't take... A sword of ice. It was so cold to the touch, that I was afraid to even touch it. I was afraid that if I held onto it for too long that I would... Become frozen, for all of infinity."

"So you're saying there is a sword so cold that it can freeze over the Eternal Flame?" asked Olezka with his arms crossed.

"Yes..."

"Then let's get going!" expressed Lada in an adventurous tone.

Olezka stopped her, "wait... Before we go, I want to know something in return for taking you. I want information on the Immortal Horses."

"Fine... I don't really care... I just want to get rid of these... Flames..."

He sat down.

"I'll tell you everything I know. There is now a Sixth True Immortal. His name is Bryan. He was once a Dark Witch, but now he's an Immortal Witch."

"So the rumors were true," said Lada.

Olezka stepped closer, "and you participated in the tests to become one?"

"Yes, I participated and I lost... Now take me to Antarctica. I'll tell you the rest along the way."

"Fine... Fine... Lada get the plane ready for transport. And tell Joshua and Dima to get a course set."

"Joshua and Dima are coming?" asked Lada.

"No, just get the map and the plane ready. I still have some stuff I need to talk to Damon about."

"Kay. I'll get it all done right away, big bro."

Lada left the warehouse as Damon slowly walked back over to the metal box. But before he could even take a step in Olezka stopped him.

"By the way, before we go. You know Antarctica's a big place, right? Do you know where this hut is, exactly?" he asked.

Damon closed his burning eyes. He remembered the location. Where it sat in the snowing storm.

In the center of the world. At the point of the end and the beginning. Of infinity and inability.

"It's at the crossroads of hell and heaven."

"What?!"

---

"Madam!"

A secretary barged into Miss Eiko's office. She held up a small single-lined paper.

"Miss Eiko, we got the report back from Mr. Chain."

Miss Eiko slowly turned in her large swizzle chair. She wore her tight rose-colored suit.

"Well what does it say?" she asked.

"It says... Dear, Miss Eiko. There seems to be a conundrum. This Immortal you spoke of is not an Immortal."

"What?"

She stood up from her chair.

"I cast my Eternal Flame on him, but it seems its effects were too weak to take him out."

"Give me that paper," she said, snatching the paper from her secretary and reading it for herself.

Paper: [This man named Damon is not just a simple Immortal, but a True Immortal. I don't know the specifics of this and I don't care for it. I have done what you have requested of me.]

Miss Eiko looked up from the paper. Her eyes filled with rage.

"I want a tracking team on Damon now!"

The secretary looked up with worry, "actually... We already put out an APB to our alliances families."

"Who put out that order?!" asked Miss Eiko getting even more furious.

"Well... It was Mr. Bryan."

"Mr. Bryan...? Bryan..." She crumpled up the paper and tossed it across the immaculate red floor, "fine... Fine... I'll let it slide for now. But what about the other two. Aria and Luna. They are also in cahoots with Damon."

"We have tracked their location down. They are in a car as we speak. heading toward Detroit."

"Good good... I want all our best Soldiers on them, and send in Jango, he's our best tracker."

"Well... Again Madam... Mr. Bryan and Killa Kill are already on their way their way to Detroit as we speak."

"Uhhhggg..." Miss Eiko sat back down in her large swivel chair, "fine then, send Jango after Damon. I'll go after the girls."
