Thank You

Milky Way Date: Year 3749, Yamini 8th, Galactic Foundation of Catoq Calendar (3749, G.F.C.C); Year 2035, May 8th, After The Great Disaster (2035, A.G.D)

Milky Way Location: Aasani System, Galactic Foundation of Catoq Area, Hawk Windy Fleet.

Planet: Aasani

After the pirates' escape, Captain Sonomott managed to contact the Foundation, informing them of what had happened. The Foundation in turn sent a fleet of spacecraft to the coordinates of Hawk Windy. The number of deaths on the ship was investigated. More than sixty-nine of the three hundred and forty-seven people on board were killed. Staff and students.

Theft of data on the spacecraft has been proven. However, they were unable to say exactly what had been stolen.

The rest of the trip was made with the accompaniment of a stellar fleet of a total of fifteen ships. The tour was done in a calm and peaceful way. Those who were killed, had their bodies transported to a funeral vessel, that vessel would take their bodies to a Foundation station and, from there, to their respective family members.

To the relief of 6th class, Fan'del was alive. He had been locked up in the infirmary with the nurse and a few other students. The furry and enormous boy was received with open arms by his companions, especially his captain. He was found by soldiers of the foundation, hidden behind a closet.

And after three days of travel, they arrived at the desired location. The Aasani system, home to exactly three billion people, as well as being the location of the Foundation's Academy. It was on the planet Aasani that the Foundation operated politics around the galaxy.

Arriving on the planet, the 6th class immediately met the director of the academy and the current president of the Foundation, Gamon Ny. They were sent to a tiny but incredibly comfortable room, being analyzed one by one by each Foundation representative present.

"My name is Jadellye Hamej." The tall woman said. "I am the director of this academy. And, as many of you know, this is a prestigious college. But we are not here to discuss my academy, we are here to talk about you." She said pointing her finger at everyone in 6th class, including Captain Sonomott.

"We have had many casualties. And for them I offer my condolences." Gamon Ny said. "As for you, we've already received the forms. But I would like to hear the story from your mouth, Captain."

Everyone looked at Captain Sonomott. The 6th class, however, was focused and looking ahead, waiting for the captain's speech. But he said nothing. He was frozen, next to his students, and then, he opened his mouth. "You asked the wrong person to do this, President Ny." He said. "You should ask the person who did more for us. He was the one who decoded the language those pirates were using. And he was the one who almost died trying to save the ship."

Akin frowned. He knew the captain was talking about him, but he hadn't done anything much. The boy just did as he was told, orders from his captain. Felix Sonomott should be the one to get praised.

"Ah, yes. Akin Damijo." The Last Human." The boy felt a shiver down his spine. It was a feeling of anger. The president had spoken with some enthusiasm, with an emphasis on the phrase. "Tell me what happened." The president demanded.

"Everything that happened there is on the forms, President Ny." Akin replied. "I just followed orders, sir." "Good soldiers follow orders, huh?" The president asked rhetorically.

"Well, I can only say, thank you. Thank you for your courage. Even though some of you have disrespected your captain's orders." He said as he looked at Galeg, Camare and Vantner. "Thank you."

The politicians and representatives of the Foundation present there stood up, accompanied by professors from the academy and then, director Jadellye. The sound of clapping echoed throughout the small room. The feeling of being recognized, not by the destruction of your planet, but by a feat practiced by you, was very different, just as Akin had imagined.

Captain Sonomott joined the president and other captains. The 6th class students, however, remained in the same place. The principal was walking towards the students, stopping in front of Akin. "It'll be great to have students like you at the academy." She said pointing at the 6th class.

Akin felt as if he were at home, as in Derrvun. He smiled, with the band covering his bruised head stretching along with the wrinkles on his forehead. "When can we start?" He asked smiling.

The director then accompanied him with a smile.

"Welcome to the Foundation Academy."
