A dinner

I gasped when the power suddenly went off. Oh dear. This is what i hate the most when there's a typhoon.
Good thing there's a generator in the building to power the electricity all day. I rolled my eyes when i saw an email from our prof.
'Worksheet set for two days..'
Damn. I started opening the worksheet he sent to us. I need to finish this three set tonight.
Just like what is planned. I finished everything in one night. It's already 4 a.m. when i slept.
7:00 a.m. is the time when i woke up. That's a short sleep but fine. I checked my emails and sent my first worksheet to my prof.
I cooked beef tapa for my breakfast and lunch. I partnered it with a kimchi and apple juice.
After eating breakfast i took a shower and watched netflix. The moment i got bored i checked the scenario outside. The trees were swaying.
Rescue teams are going back and forth. I wish there were no casualties.
I jumped when i heard my phone notification. I opened it and was stunned because of what i saw.

I immediately accepted his follow request on twitter. I read some of his tweets but it's all about engineering.
His Instagram was clean and organize. There's just one photo of him and the rest was just picture of places he took during his vacation outside the country.
While scrolling on my feed. A message suddenly popped up.

I laughed when i read his message. Gosh! His personality was very far from what he looks like.

Annyeong! Should i make sushi today?
I stood up and went to my kitchen. I checked the cabinets to see if there are some ingredients for sushi. Good thing there was.

I look at my place. It is clean. The shelf of my medical books was clean. The sofa and throw pillows are all new. Everything was neat.
I go inside my powder room. Well this is rarely used so it's perfectly fine.

I put my phone back in my room and charged it. I went back to the kitchen to prepare.
Good thing i didn't throw away my sushi maker. As a medstudent i don't have much time to cook. I rarely use my kitchen because i always do food delivery.
I make three kinds of sushi. Sashimi, nigiri and uramaki.I finished everything by 5:30 p.m.. I also cooked beef teriyaki.
6 p.m. he will be here. So while waiting i opened my book in Genereal Surgery Technique.
In the middle of my review. Someone rang my doorbell. I stood up and went straightly to the door.
"Hi--" i was taken aback when i saw Elias with a man.
"Hello! I'm Niro." the man greeted me.
"I am Alliah but you can call me Iyah." i offered my hand so he was.
I looked at Elias that is now playing with his hair. I smiled at him and motioned them inside my unit.
I ran towards my coffee table and fixed my notes. Gosh. Why am i so messy while studying.
"Well--uhm. Let's eat? Everything is now ready." i told the two guy and walk to my kitchen.
I saw how Elias eyes sparkled when he saw the tons of sushi rolls. I gave them both pairs of chopsticks.
"Let's pray?" Niro announced.
We all bow our heads and prayed. We thanked God for his blessings.
"Daebak! This is so delicious!" Niro praised my dish."We should come here often!" he added.
Elias tapped his shoulders. Niro glazed at him. I just chuckled because of their attitudes.
"She's a med student. She's BUSY." Elias said to his friend.
"Wow!Doctor!"
"Soon." i corrected him.
We talked about their works. They are both a civil engineers and we are on the same age.
"Is it hard?" Elias asked me.
"Well. It is hard. Being a medstudent is really hard. You need to study everything about human body and illnesses." i honestly answered."You have limited time to party--you don't really have time." i continued.
"That was just the start. It will be more harder during your residency. Right?" Niro asked.
I nodded. He's right. I should enjoy this time because when i will start working. It will be really hard.
"You will work here? Or you are thinking to go abroad?" i looked at Elias because of his question.
I looked down on my plate thinking. I don't know what to answer because I'm still in the middle of choosing. I like to work in London but i also want to work here.
"I don't actually know. It depends,"i have him a smile.
He just smiled at me also. We continued eating all the foods. There are some left overs because we are all full.
It was a great night having this two young man here. It's been a couple of months since the last time i have a visitor.
"Iyah. Do you have boyfriend?" Niro asked out of nowhere.
I dried my hands because of i just finished washing the dishes. I chuckled when i heard his question.
"A boyfriend? None. I am too busy." i answered.
That's true. I am too busy to flirt. But if someone will come why not? And now i'm curious. Who can be that man who is destined for me?
My eyes accidentally land on Elias who is busy looking at my photos. Is it possible? O my gosh. What am i thinking?
I looked away when our eyes met. I just went at my fridge and get some banana milks. I put those on a plastic bag and handed to Niro.
"A gift for the both of you," i smiled.
"Omoh! Thank you!"
I saw Elias looked at his wrist watch. He called Niro and whispered something to him. After that, Elias walk towards me.
"Celestine," he called me using my second name that delivered chills on my body. "Thank you for tonight. We really want to stay longer but we have a meeting." he continued.
"Your welcome. That's okay, i mean. It's a important thing, your meeting." i assured him.
He smiled genuinely that made his dimples show. He patted my head before leaving.
I walked them out of my unit and gave them a wave. It was nice talking with them. Elias faced me when we are infront of the elevator.
