I remember so vividly, the face you had that day. Your eyes were filled with glitters, your lips formed the best smile and your cheeks were tinted bright red looking at her.
Oh, I wished it was me you were looking at.
Dad was a strong man, a wealthy nobleman of our kingdom Lune Dalxi. Mother was the famous florist of the southern part of the kingdom.
And I, Amalthea Junvee of the Marquess House, Junvee, the eldest daughter of the three children, is just a typical noble lady.
Never did I wish to catch the star, to fly to the moon, to swallow the sun, all I wanted to have is a humble life as a human.
"Lady Amalthea"
"Come in" A maid dressed formally with hair tied up in to a bun
"Marchioness Junvee asked for your presence"
Just then, a thunder was alarmed blasting it sounds in. Looking out the window, the sky was inked grey with barely any light, soft soothing rain drops down wetting the soil. It was relaxing.
"I‟ll go."
Heels clicking noise echoes around the large building accompany by the rain. Our mansion was kept silent because of the lack of my siblings‟ presence, Jonathan and Jeanette, the twin.
"Amal" A smile of delight formed on mom‟s lips. She wore a soft pink gown paired with her dark curly hair, at a mature age, she still outshine most girls, including me.
"The Duchy House, Tuffinliver, invited me to their tea party on this Saturday. They asked for your appearance also, let‟s go pick out some dresses!"
Her eyes turned crescent telling me those words. Eyeing every small gesture she made, we know she is extremely excited.
"But outside is raining" I clarified, "Right, let‟s go after the rain"
Out of the blue, a tall lad entered our living room with clothes slightly messed up taking us by surprise.
"Goodness gracious! Iarlaith how come you‟re here?" Mom curtsied a little before she went and check on him.
I stood behind them not knowing what to do. But as been taught, I curtsy towards him when he gazes my way.
Like a fairytale, the minute I saw his ocean blue eyes, it‟s like there are spark and fairy dust flying around so whimsically. It was fluttering in my mind.
"I am here to inform you madam Junvee, about the news of this Saturday Tea Party of the Tuffinliver house. Unfortunately, it will be cancel due to an urgent matter." He said. "Because of the raining weather, it forced me to come here by walking"
"Oh my, such thing shouldn‟t happened to the heir of Tuffinliver"
I finally got a grasp of the situation. Bowing slightly to them, I dismissed myself and brought back a tray with tea.
Every inch I moved and every word I said, i tried not to make eye contact with the man in front of me.
"Milady, are you perhaps the Amalthea Junvee, the eldest daughter of the Marquess and theMarchioness?"
"Greeting to you, Sir Iarlaith"
We bowed to one another as signs of respect. Never would I‟ve thought that my heart would pound by the sight of someone like him.
Well, truly he was a fine man, a future head of the duchy house made it even better. But from a girl who dreamt of an apple, how will I be able to conquer the sun?
Outside again, the rain only got lighter but it never stops while the sun slowly set.
"It‟s a pleasurable visit", and he left.
He left when the rain sprinkles during the golden hour of sunset. The most beautiful thing of all,
Serein. My favorite times of the day.
