I cringed because he just demonstrated me another shade of him.

It gave me goosebump as he laid on his mattress, directing to his large king-size bed that had space for four people.

I gritted my jaw and aimed to leave when he said, "I never said you can leave!" 

I halted while my hand was still on the door handle. He was not joking at all.

At that moment, I felt the pain that was lashing me from backward and frontward.

His hand wrapped over my belly, and his wings embraced my body.

"What..."

"Hush, I said, you can come to my bed." 

I was scared of him for a moment. He drew his wings back and took hold of my hand.

Aligners

When I was feeling relief about the chance of getting home, the building began to shake. I grabbed Lethila and Elisa and pushed them away from the stone that was falling.

Edward looked at us. Since he saw Lethila, I saw many changes in his face. Worries, fear, and many other emotions that barely I could see within him. He was showing me his true self.

"Get out." Lashuka directed to all of them. The huge legs made of blades were making unbearable noises as if gears were scrubbing on each other through a glassy wall. Besides that the being screeched and a second later everything ruined.

Lashuka grew taller and his sword appeared in his hand. He dodged the attack of a leg and cut it down. But it grew again.

Edward and Bo seized out for the red moon followers who were attacking us. A heat giggled in my head and traveled down my body.

"Stay out of this," I told Rey and Elisa.

I wanted to make sure that our little girl was safe.
