Destiny Tomkins

When classes began, I was the person to always raise a hand when a question is asked by our teachers, especially in Mathematics and Science. I really love these subjects just because of the beauty of it. Most people would disagree with me but imagine that here's a number, and you could do a lot of things about it, you could add, subtract, multiply, divide, get the square root of, there's just a lot, and there's science where you study about every known element to man and discovering everything until the ends of this universe. But there was no day in a week that I never stared at Destiny. It was the whole universe telling me that she is the one, she is the one I am looking for. And it was also the whole universe telling me that I have found destiny in Destiny Tomkins. We will always go to the cafeteria together, go back to the classroom together, walk home together, and just overall spend time with each other. We would even sometimes call each other and stay up late just to answer some homework.

One lunchtime, we were at the cafeteria sitting in front of each other, and she asked me "Do you have a crush on somebody in the campus?", and with that question I spilled some of the orange juice that was in my mouth, and I responded with "Why did you ask?"

"I don't know. Just curious maybe" she replied.

"Well, if I have a crush on somebody, I will tell you of course, you're my best friend!" I told her.

"And what if that somebody was me that's why you won't tell me?" she responded.

"What?! U-uhm n-no! Are you crazy? I-I—" I stuttered.

"I was just kidding Wally! Of course, it wouldn't be me, I'm your best friend, not your soon to be girlfriend" she said.

"Or maybe it is you Dessie…" I whispered.

"What were you saying?" she asked.

"Oh! No, u-uhm… n-nothing!" I told her.

She smiled at me and gave me an "I got my eyes on you" sign. Well, I guess, I almost slipped on that one.

Back at the therapy room…

"Destiny Tomkins is such a sweet girl. She is kind, she is funny, she is smart, she is poetic, and is sometimes an unsolvable puzzle. She sometimes comes to school feeling gloomy, but when we get to hangout at breaktimes, her mood is lightened up. One conclusion I can draw is probably family problems and hanging out with her best friend somehow cures the gloominess." I told the therapist in the room.
