"She gave it to you? Are you sure?" The woman asked in disbelief and surprise. 

Fu Jie looked to be a little offended as he heard this question and he immediately retorted, "What now?! Do you think I stole it or something?!" 

"..." Luo Lijuan sighed as she shook her head and explained, "It's not that I doubt you but it's surprising for her to give this ring to you." 

"Why?" Fu Jie asked with a small frown apparent on his face. 

"That ring was gifted to her by Elder Dayu and it originally belongs to him." 

Fu Jie was certainly a bit surprised as he heard this but he didn't say anything as he simply waited for the woman to continue.
