The midnight musician

'HuiXieye, am I the weird one for expecting a word of gratitude from this man...?' Fu Jie questioned in disbelief.

'Do you really want to waste time on that, Master? The sect might have already been destroyed by now,' HuiXieye sighed and Fu Jie immediately felt a little wronged as he heard this. His own sword seemed to be supporting Xiao Jingyi instead of him so how could he not feel wronged...?

Fu Jie tried his best to move fast and when he was sure that there was enough spiritual energy transferred over to Xiao Jingyi, he stopped and patted the man on his back with a sigh as he spoke, "It's all done."

"You're not coming?" The man asked with a small frown and Fu Jie pursed his lips together into a thin smile as he heard this question.
