Chapter 4

Susan let out a heavy breath, it was finally the end of her shift, The store was clean and Empty; She sat on the chair in the employee's room and Nicha looked at her.

" Do you want a ride home? "

As soon as she hears Nicha, she Smiles.

" Would you? "

Nicha nods and gives a peck on Susan's cheek making the girl's cheek burn of how she was blushing, that's when they hear a car horn. Susan goes out to see and there it was Soojin SUV. Nicha was behind Susan now looking and rolling her eyes.

" I guess your saviour is here..."

Nicha says annoyed, she wasn't having much of Ivy, she didn't feel the vibe with that girl, She hands Susan's her backpack and take Susan to the door, once they outside she once again pecks Susan's Cheek and says goodbye, Ivy watches everything in silence making a mental note that Nicha is trying to make her angry, she opens the car door for Susan helping her to enter the car.

" Thank You"

Susan says and Ivy smiles at her closing the door carefully, she walks to her side entering the car and driving away from the bakery.

" How was work? "

Ivy starts the conversation in the car for the first time.

" Tiring, can't believe that in 3 days I have to go back to College."

Susan said carefully massaging her thighs.

Ivy looked at her for only a brief second not to distract herself from the road.

"Do You know, How to drive? "

Susan looked at her confused.

" Yes, I had to do my test when I was younger to get a job in a pizza place for delivery. "

Ivy just smiled looking at the road.

"Why?"

Susan asked trying to get Ivy to talk.

" Take my car to the campus, is automatic so there's no much to learn anyways. I'll arrange another car for you, also... I'll need to do a business trip anyway so I won't be here for 3 days..."

Susan heard the girl and for some reason, she felt sad and pouted for a second but tried to smile.

" Are you Sure ??"

" Yes, I trust you."

Ivy didn't know what the heck was going on with her, she just really wanted to give her everything to Susan without hesitating, she wasn't going on a business trip, she was going to her apartment in New York to take a couple of days to herself to think. They finally got home, in the parking lot jade was coming out of her car when she sees them. Jade was holding flowers and a gift box all in yellow.

" Hey, Guys. How are you doing? "

Jade says smiling while walking with Ivy and Susan.

" We are great! "

Ivy says before Susan could speak. Jade smiles, looking at Susan who just smiled back at her.

" I know she can be very annoying, you gonna be okay!"

Susan laughs at Jade's comment and they enter the elevator.

" So, tomorrow I and Sunny are throwing a party in the apartment, would love it if you guys come by"

" I am leaving tomorrow to New York"

Ivy says and then Susan looks at Jade.

" I'll stop by after my classes! Maybe I get to know some people"

"Oh, You know what, I might have time! "

Ivy reaction was fast to what Susan had said about meeting new people.

" Chill, it's okay."

" Isn't it a business trip? Don't ditch work for a party! "

Susan said looking cutely angry and Ivy.

Jade holds her laugh when the elevator announces her floor.

" Well, that's my cue! Bye Bye."

Jade runs out of the elevator leaving the two other women who were looking intensely at each other.

" Okay, You win..."

Ivy puts her hands up after the elevator announces their floor. Both get out of the elevator carefully walking to the door.

" You are very smart "

Ivy looks dumbfounded about Susan's Comment.

" OH! SO YOU WANT TO PLAY?"

Ivy says in a loud tone and hugs Susan's from her back making the Younger giggles at the fact that I y started to tickle her on her belly.

Susan was laughing loud and she laugh-filled Ivy's ears like music, she could hear the girl laugh for so long.

" I-Ivy S-S-Top I can't breath"

Susan said yet with small giggles Ivy who had a wide smile finally stopped.

" You are cute... "

Ivy said and Susan blushed hard, she put her palms on her cheeks trying to hide the fact that Ivy just affected her with her statement and her heart was racing by it.

"T-Thank You..."

Both of them just stayed looking at each other in silence for 30 seconds when Ivy broke the silence by giving Susan her car keys.

" Here, I'll be out at 6:30 am, Don't worry I'll make your breakfast..."

Susan held a smile when she heard about the breakfast

- Will she makes me breakfast? This is so weird-

Susan thoughts were overflowing at the moment.

" Th-Thank You"

For the first time, Susan bowed for Ivy, who quickly bowed back. It was an awkward moment for both of them but they quickly shrugged it off and bid their goodbyes going to their rooms.

3:45 am

" PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!!!"

A yell was heard from Susan's room waking up Ivy right away. She was hearing Susan Scream and she gets her baseball bat from her Office walking scared that someone might have invaded the house but then she quickly remembers they live in a safe apartment and leaves the baseball bat in the hallway when Susan yells louder and she runs to the girl's room, Susan was sitting on her bed crying, Ivy sits near the girl and hugs her, Susan then grips Ivy's shirt and tights her grip in just seconds, she is crying like she never did before.

" It's okay... It was a nightmare... It was just a nightmare...."

Ivy kept on repeating in Susan's year calmly and the younger girl stopped crying now hugging Ivy's body.

" Please don't go..."

Susan says quietly, her face was buried on Ivy's neck and the girls soft lips ended up touching Ivy's skin lightly, making Ivy feel a wave of emotions, but she didn't move.

" I won't, I am here... I am here for you"

She caresses Susan's hair, and slowly rocking herself until Susan's grip got lose and Ivy puts the girl correctly in bed and tucks her in, she took a deep breath and went out of the room calling Sunny.

" She, She has nightmares too..."

Ivy quietly says and Sunny takes a deep breath.

" How you guys met again? "

Sunny left bed, Jade was still asleep and she leaves their room.

" She called me after the paper announcement for my room"

Sunny walked to her studio and sat in her chair.

" Okay, She had enough to pay you?"

Sunny was asking a lot Ivy and she didn't know why it felt weird but she kept answering Sunny.

" No, but I saw her state, I went to her apartment, she wasn't safe"

" Well, Ivy I guess you found it"

Sunny said looking at Ivy medical reports

" Your Cure"

Ivy sat on the floor after hearing what Sunny said. She closed her eyes thinking.

" How can she be my cure? "

" You will discover soon enough... Now let me Sleep, will yah? Thought to remember, what do you want ...."

Sunny hangs up in Ivy and looks at Ivy medical report. She has a lot of traumas, though one doctor reported that when she was a kid she kept calling for a girl called " Susan", whenever the name was repeated she would calm down.

Sunny took a deep breath, and put the report back in the drawer.

" Please, be her..."
