The Aurfix School

it was 5th October, the day after Tsuki's birthday. (for saving the time, let's just call Tsuki, Katsuke and Keiki the K-trio) The k-trio woke up at their usual time, it was a bright and sunny day. They were worried they wouldn't be able to wake up early but they were lucky enough not to. This gave them a whole lot of time as they already had a ride. The K-trio decided to practice outside, in the castle yard (which was huge by the way). The AURFIX KING was free so he decided to personally train them. Kimito was fascinated by what Keiki could do with the dark magic and so, he decided to teach her some more. They all accompanied Kimito as he proceeded towards the library. He gathered some book and then went into the room of black magic and gathered some books from there. After that, they returned to the castle yard.

Kimito opened up a book and handed Keiki a page on a song for defence.

" There Keiki. Try to sing it, but this song is a bit more complicated than the last one I gave you. This spell used all the elements and light magic and dark magic together. So, you have to apply both Ci-aura and Qi-aura. This spell also needs a lot more control, so, I think you should practise your control before you try this spell" explained Kimito.

"Okay, sir"

" how about you let your magic run wild and then try to control it?"

"yes sir!!!"

Keiki didn't exactly sing a song this time but rather started to produce a melodious sound with her mouth. She let her power run free, it was a splash of chi-aura and qi-aura. The chi-aura and the qi-aura collided with each other.

Let's just say she had an enormous amount of aura dormant within her. Once the auras were out, she tried controlling it. The aura was everywhere, so it was harder than controlling the aura right after releasing it. She was able to control the aura but the aurfix king told her to practise on that more. While she was practising, kimito moved on to Katsuke.

"now let's see what you can do, shall we?"

"yes sir!!!"

"light magic is really fast, in fact, the fastest magic there is. You need a concentration of aura. You should try to concentrate a bit of aura into a single attack, try to make the attack saturated and dense with a light aura."

"Yes, sir!!!"

This was really easy for katsuke to do, it was perfection, so, kimito told him to create multiple attacks like that. He increased the number by a few and then the numbers got up from there. The more he created, the harder it was for him to hold it together. The number of attacks he could wield was very impressive but Katsuke wanted to practise till he could create thousands of attacks and so kimito moved on to Tsuki.

"now, Tsuki dear, can you try to release your aura?"

"But how do I do that?"

"it should come naturally to you but try to fell the energy inside of you"

"But I can't feel any energy inside of me!!! I don't understand how to use aura at all. How can I ever be an aurfix?"

"calm down Tsuki, maybe you could just sit still and feel the energy around or within you?"

"but I can't, I don't know how to!!!"

"just try to do it, no need to rush."

Keiki was ready and asked Kimito if she could try out the spell and so, kimito proceeded on to the next step of her training, which was to practise the spell. Controlling that many kinds of auras left Keiki in exhaustion. It was extremely difficult for her to manage it. As soon and she transformed her aura into the basic elements, it burst into just auras.

"OH MY GOD GUYS!!! WE WILL BE LATE FOR THE CLASS!!! IT HAS STARTED A FEW MINUTES AGO!!!" exclaimed Tsuki in panic.

"oh no, where is Andrea?" asked Keiki.

"why? is Andria supposed to come here?" questioned Kimito.

"yes, she was supposed to use her spatial magic to get us from here to the school. But she isn't here yet!!!" explained Katsuke.

"Oh, well she can't enter the castle with spatial magic without authorization, the aura barrier surrounding the castle won't let her in and the gates are guarded by spirits," explained Kimito.

"well what figures, I think we should hurry then. our ride won't be here then"

With this, they got outside the castle gates. There they found Andrea.

"You waited for us outside here?" asked Katsuke.

"well, yeah, I promised" muttered Andrea.

"wow, thanks for that Andrea."

"yah, thank you"

"thanks a lot."

with the help of Adrea, they were able to get to the school but they were still late.

They all are now inside the school premises, ready to get into the class and as they enter, they get a serious scolding from the teacher.

"What do you think you four are doing? Its only the second day of school for you guys and you are late? UNACCEPTABLE!!! You four maybe young and more gifted than the others but that's no excuse for coming late. NOW GO AND SETTLE AT YOUR DEST!!!"

"yes, ma'am" muttered those two in fear.

To say the teacher was strict would be an understatement, after all, they only a few minutes late. It was a theoretical class, where you didn't have to actually practise magic but just learn how to use it and some other stuff.

Five sits were left. Blaze invited Tsuki to sit beside him, she got all flustered and froze.

"hay Tsuki are you okay?" asked Katsuke.

Tsuki snapped out of it and then took her seat. Keiki sat alone and Katsuke sat with Andria. Poor Andria was so overwhelmed that she couldn't concentrate most of the class.

Next up was the class where the students were supposed to practise and improve their magic. Everyone but Tsuki was excited about the class. It was the first class so they did nothing in particular, they just got to know each other's magic. Each of the students was supposed to show demonstrate their magic abilities. Most of them knew each other's abilities as it was the second half of the year in the aurfix school,(students are admitted in the beginning and the middle of the year, the K trio joined in the middle, most students prefer to join in the beginning as joining in the middle would leave them with a lot to catch up with).

"first up the top student, Blaze, please come forth and demonstrate your magic abilities," announced the teacher.

Blaze stepped out of the crowd. He explained that instead of only being able to control only one element, he could control all 10 elements, including the 5 basic elements and the five rare ones. First up, he used earth to create a ball of hard mud, then he covered it up with Christle magic, then he attached a shape cone-shaped blob of ice after that he covered the rest of the Christle with fire, he created a tale for it with lightning, he then covered the whole thing with swirling wind magic, he placed metallic shades around it, he stopped putting more as it would be unnecessary trouble, controlling all that kind of element was too advanced for a 4th classes aurfix to do, but his powers exceeded his rank. He then swirled it around like a meteor. He put a splendid show and finished it with the full attention of the audience. Everyone was left in awws and started applauding.

Next up Keiki was called, to compete with the performance Blaze put up, she busted out the spell that she learnt in the room of forbidden spells, the once she couldn't control... With a melodious voice, she sang a song of pure evil and destruction. Her performance, instead of leaving the audience in awws, it left them in terror. They watched as everything slowly denigrated, her eyes turned pitch black but before further destruction, the teacher tried to step in but it was unnecessary, she had full control over her power. She stopped the spell herself. There was no applause but utter silence. She explained that she uses song magic, through her song, she could use any kind of magic, this time she used dark magic.

Next up the teacher called a bunch of students before calling Andria. In an attempt to prove her power, she went crazy with her power, started with teleporting everyone to different places extremely rapidly. In a few minutes, they had travelled over a hundred place, she stopped at an unknown place where she showed the destruction he spacial magic could bring, she could rip off everything and destroy anything she desired, she teleported a huge bolder and then broke it in half, well not exactly, she teleported half of the bolder into one place and the other half into another place. She then teleported everyone back to the school. She got a loud applaud as well.

The teacher then called out Tsuki but she requested that she would go last and so the teacher called out Katsuke. Katsuke requested Andria to take them to the same place she had taken them to show her magic, Andria agreed to do so and took them there. He did the same thing the aurfix king had asked him to do this morning, the destruction it could do was amazing but his performance was not as good as Blaze, Keiki or Andria, he was capable of more but he didn't think of anything that time. His performance was quick but it did earn him some applaud.

Tsuki was the last one left. She came forward, nervous and anxious, in her mind, she was criticising herself.

"I can't use magic..." mumbled Tsuki in a quiet voice.

"Sorry?" the teacher exclaimed

"I CAN'T USE MAGIC ALRIGHT?" Shouted Tsuki.

"But that can't be, you are the lone survivor of the Etrurian clan, you used an aura shield that a whole legion could not destroy!!! right?" exclaimed Blaze.

"I wasn't the one to do that, it was my parents who did, they sacrificed their lives for that spell!!!" replied Tsuki

She ran off to somewhere, Katsuke followed her.

"Tsuki, wait!!! It's OKAY!!!"

"NO IT'S NOT OKAY, I can't use magic at all while you, Keiki, Blaze and Andria can handle it so well!!! I am always the letdown. There is nothing special about me."

There was a long pause of silence.

"Katsuke, what are you doing? what's happening to you?"

Katsuke was floating and his eyes were pith black like Keiki but this time, he was actually possessed...
