1: Too Soon

Feeling like steam was coming out of my ears, I continued to stomp down the dirt road leading back to the shop. The people weaved around me while trying their hardest not to bump into me, I could see in their eyes that they could feel the wrath flowing off me in waves blazing in the air making it thicker than being smothered in oil.

With my shoulders squared and my eyes focused on the blade as I held it up, not paying attention to where I was walking I ended up running into something hard yet soft. The impact and shock of it sent me straight into the hard ground. Rubbing my butt as the anger increased "why the hell is you just standing in the middle of the damn road?! "I looked up at the person who I just bumped into, stared straight into scorning deep dark sapphire eyes that held me captive for a moment I came to my senses to see the angry yet beautifully shaped face surrounded with waist-length midnight blue hair flowing into the wind those mysterious eyes belonged to."Huh?!" Even with his face being distorted, I couldn't help but be amazed that someone this beautiful could truly be living amongst humans, he looked like an angel that belonged in heaven, at least that is what I thought until he opened his perfectly shaped lips. "Why the hell is a short brat like you touching someone like me? Scum like you should watch where you're walking. Be lucky I'm in such a hurry because otherwise, I would have to punish you." He scuffed while looking down at me like he had just seen a roach crawling over his boots, getting ready to stomp the life from it. Anger that I forgot I had suddenly flared up again, but this time it threatened to overflow.

But before I could do anything I saw Andrew's head pop out from behind the man's wide yet famine figure, looking a little depressed. But as soon as he saw me his eyes rounded and his mouth fell right open "D- De- Deanaro!? Why are you here, I wasn't expecting to see you here. Dad said that you had a lot of work to do."He looked down at the sword I was clutching in my hands. "Deanaro, why do you still have that? What happened to the delivery to Mr. Wong? I'm not very pleased that you're keeping a customer waiting, and I'm sure father won't be happy either."

The surprised look faded away. I clutched the sword harder in my hands until I heard a soft crack, but I didn't care. "That sick bastard doesn't deserve this sword. I would gladly hold onto this sword if I knew he would die on the battlefield. That man doesn't even deserve to look at the sheath." I looked my older brother straight in the eyes not daring to look away. His eyes grew wide in disbelief, he knew I would never talk bad about someone and especially not swear. Then I noticed the man that was still standing right between us getting more annoyed as the conversation went on, I saw his shoulders shaking out of anger through the corner of my eye.

I looked at the man but as soon as I was about to say something I felt a threatening presence from behind me. The blue-haired man looked up and the anger slipped away and a look of complete adoration replaced it.

While my brother beside him stood up straight and saluted with a very stern face. Seconds later I saw my father walking out of the shop with matching gear that resembled my brother's" where is all that god damn noise coming from?" My dad said as he walked up beside my brother a head taller than my brother. Which was very tall indeed my brother stood at 6'3" and my father at 7'2". I looked up at him as I strained my neck just to look at him because I only stood at 5'1" -at eleven years old I am quite proud, then I look at my brothers and get depressed even though my mother is taller than me. At least that is what I am told, my mother died of cancer two years after I was born so I believe them when they say it. But it doesn't help my self-esteem in the least bit.

His frown only grew once he saw me then he looked at the man behind me. He quickly saluted as well at the man, curiosity overcame my fear. I turned to look at the man and my gaze instantly locked with his scarlet red eyes, he looked only a couple of years older than me, was he already at such a high standing for everyone to salute him? Well, I'm not going to. I don't care if I get scolded or not, why should I show someone respect just a few years older anyways. I mean come on no one shows me any respect and I am a master fighter as well as a blacksmith, so I have no reason to show him any respect. Plus I won't ever see this guy ever again anyways. Right?

Then he smirked, "oh you're not going to show any sign of respect are you?" He chuckled and mumbled interest. He then looked away towards the three standing behind me then gestured to them to follow him. I looked behind me to see hollowness in both my father's and brother's eyes as they nodded. I gave them a questioning look but neither one of them looked at me. Then my eyes widened as the situation sunk in they were going to war, without telling me. I clenched my hands around the sword harder than before and was greeted with more cracking sounds.

All three of them passed me to follow the young man with red eyes and black hair reaching the middle of his neck. As he stood at an impressive height of 6'4" dressed in an inexpensive black and red general's uniform. "Take care of that sword then, I leave it in your care." My father said -at the time I had no idea that those would be the last thing I would ever hear him say. My brother walked in with the rest of them with a stern face and squared shoulders. My father didn't even look back at me as he caught up with the others.

I decided to run up to them and hugged their broad backs. "Come back home ok?" I felt both of them begin to shake as they held in their tears. My father nodded but said nothing, I could only see half of his face as he continued to look forward. His dark red hair just barely grazed his shoulders and his dark hazel eyes surrounded by long red eyelashes. His clean shaved face, his sharp jawline, his thick neck, the broad body; all of it I was painting a mental picture in my mind.

But my eyes lost focus once he walked away to the other two men who stopped the blue-haired man looked annoyed, while the red-eyed man had a hard but blank expression. My older brother turned into my embrace " I will come to you and the rest of the family I promise" he whispered. I buried my head in his hard chest breathing in his scent of faint Oakwood, sweat, leather, and metal. I looked up at him after a little while to be met with dark green hazel eyes and perfect feature- graceful cheekbones, beautifully shaped eyebrows, full lips, charming smile, beautifully shaped body feminine yet manly. "Promise to be good and don't let the others bully you either, let your sister know as soon as it happens she will punish them while I'm not here."

A few seconds later he ran off to meet the others, then they let. I have a really bad feeling about this. I stood there trying not to run after them and drag them back home or to cry, as they faded in the distance. "Deanaro? You saw them, didn't you? Look I'm sorry but I wanted to tell you after they left." I heard my older sister call out to me from behind, so I turned to look at her as she stood in front of the shop she heaved a sigh " come inside lunch is done and we need to talk, ok?" I gave her a small smile and nodded as I followed her inside. "I already know, and thanks for the food I don't want to talk about it either. I'll just eat and do my daily training, ok?" She turned to look at me with a sad look but nodded anyway, "ok".
