Long Ah-Shaan

"You think it's the best idea?" Zhenyi asked when she came out of the room. The rain was pouring on her body.

She had asked her men to keep an eye and inform her immediately if things went south.

"That's the best idea I have right now," Ming Jia said, not happy about it at all.

"Who does that part of the mansion belong to?"

"I have no idea  . . ."

"I'm not doing it if you are not telling me the truth."

"No. No. It's now or never. We won't get the chance again. If we are delayed I'm worried we won't find anything at all." Ming Jia was desperate. She knew the character of Longs quite well.

This plan wasn't ideal. Zhenyi was behaving like a thief in her own house. Technically, it was her house, right? Whatever belonged to Long Jie would be hers naturally.

If she were to be caught red-handed, the image she had formed in the minds of Longs would vanish. She would end up becoming a laughing stock.
