Ch. 276 Where Is The Real Kaylee?

Nick massaged his temple in frustration while cursing how stupid he was. He thought his sister's best friend he had known was Kaylee. And as a successor to the chief of Frontier Shadow who would marry Declan Black, Nick believed there was nothing wrong with telling Declan the truth.

But… it's a different story if it turns out that it's not Kaylee who is married to Declan.

What had happened had happened, and he couldn't cry over the spilled milk. He just hoped that Declan wouldn't find out more about FS and forget what he said.

Nick was still so focused on his thoughts that he didn't notice his sister calling out to him. It wasn't until his brother shook his shoulder that he realized and tilted his head to his sister.

"What are you thinking? Why do you look serious?"

"For what? For hiding the fact that you know that Kaylee is Roxy?"
