I heard three knocks at the door but I didn't bother to open my eyes because there's only one person who dares to disturb my precious sleep... As soon as he pulled the curtains of my room I was greeted with the warm morning sunlight... "Good morning princess" he kissed my Temple. "Good morning Dad " I engulfed him in a bear hug. "Now take a shower and come downstairs Sarah is preparing breakfast" With a quick peck he left my room... I am lucky to have a father like him, after Mom's death I was the only reason for him to live ..Her death was the worst nightmare of our lives... I smiled at the memories how my mother used to bake cookies for me , my heart broke when the images of mom's lifeless body striked my mind,,, I didn't know I was crying unless my phone started ringing...
It's a text from my supervisor
"It's your last day as an intern"
I rolled my eyes and smiled ,,finally after years of my own struggle I'll be joining my father's company...

Now I am working on the project my supervisor gave me ... He's name is Dominic also my one and only best friend . He owns the Brown &co. and he's the second most successful businessman ,first is Mr. Mystery William . I was almost done with the work when Maria came with an another file, she looks really tired "morning Ellie" she greeted with a bright smile. She's in her mid twenties, her blond hair and ocean blue eyes adds more beauty to her looks , she's Dominic's assistant ...
"Morning Mary"
" Dom..uhm...Mr. Brown has sent this file for you"
"Okay, thank you" I smiled
"See yea"
Around 11 am I finished my work and headed towards Dom's office to submit it .... I didn't bother to knock the door and barged through the door... But to my surprise this time my stupid best friend was not alone...

As soon as the name slipped from Dom's mouth I gasped but covered it with a cough...

Christopher's demeanor changes from relaxed to cold and stiff within a fraction of second...
I look back at Dom and his face holds hints of stress... What's going on with these boys?
