Hana's pov
"What's the progress? Hand me their reports" ordered the General. "Their health is stable for now, they should arrive within the next 12 hours according to my calculations" I replied. Checking their health time to time and making a mission plan is basically my job in the headquarters. Even though I always dreamt of solving missions and not making them, I couldn't because of the one and only thing, fear.
But I am glad, without me and my smart brain our company wouldn't be in this level. The WRM (Worldwide Rescue Missions) is one of the well known and best mission companies in the world. We have solved and completed tons of successful missions making us one of the top 3 companies in the whole world. Me, being a special authorized doctor and having a smart brain makes me a very valuable asset to the WRM. I am indeed proud of myself.
Crrr....Crrr....." came a cracking sound from the main computer. All our eyes darted towards the big screen placed in front of the room. I and the General rushed to the front to have a better look at the screen. It looked like a live video showing a man dressed in all black almost merging towards the dark background behind him. We couldn't make out his face as he was wearing a mask covering his whole face except for the eyes.
"Well, well, well what do we have here? his raspy voice asked. He moved the camera towards four limp bodies tied towards 4 different poles hands behind their back. With their looks we understood they were beaten up to their pulp but forced to manage a smile when they saw us in the screen.
" What do you want" the General screamed trying to sound tough even though her face wrote panic and worried eyes. " Seems like your top 4 agents are going to meet some bad fate today" he snickered. " Let's just cut to the chase, I hate people who come in my way and the only solution to that problem is death and it seems like these 4 agents of yours will face nothing but tragedy. How about we enjoy a little show before they die, what do you think general?" he asked. " Guards! bring the leash, you know the rest" he ordered. The guards nodded and left the room.
"Wait! We will do anything please leave them alone, begged the General. Our general was a strong women, giving up was an impossible task for her, seeing her begging made our heart ache. " Like I said I will finish whoever's in my way and nothing can stop that". The guards returned with blood drenched leashes, they whipped across our agent's body, They groaned and spat out blood, while we stood there pale and helpless doing nothing, blood boiled inside my veins seeing them suffer bur we couldn't do anything. "Check their health and try to stabilize it, we can't afford to loose them" the General ordered clearly panicked. I nodded and sprinted to my desk. Seeing the results made my heart drop to my stomach.
"They are loosing a lot of blood, their hearts can't pump faster than this. Their lungs can't take in more air.'
I am afraid..... they can't make it.
