We Can't Keep Doing This

POV of Angelina

We really need to stop this Beatrice, if your brother finds out he'll skin us alive.

Well that's a risk I'm willing to take.-Beatrice

I'm being serious ok, we really need to stop, I love you but we cant keep doing this, I'm sick of hiding in closets or under the table. I want to show of who I love.

And I want the whole world to know about you, but you know that's not something we can do, husband or no husband in this time, its not possible we would surely be hung- Beatrice

We will be alright, now is that pot roast I smell? Time for supper, come along.

Madams, it's time for supper- server

Thank you, we'll be right out, is my husband back from his early morning walk?

Yes Madam, he came in a few minutes ago, and proceeded to the Master Bedroom.-server

Ok, I'll go greet him, Beatrice please wait for me at the table.

"Oh...um yes, I'll wait for you there."

{ I felt my heart draining as I made my way up the stairs. I felt her eyes on my back until I turned the corner. Pressing my back against the wall and grabbed my chest, I hated having to leave my love to go to someone who had no meaning to me. My family sold me off, so I would marry rich and bring back the money home, but I wish they sent me into her arms instead.}

*knock, knock, knock*

Yes- Sir James

It's me Angelina, I was told you had returned from your morning walk and was wondering if you wanted some company.

{Please say no, please}

Yes, I would love some company, I haven't seen my beautiful Wife for the whole morning.- Sir James

{ Crumbs and biscuits}

Well I'm sure you wanted your time alone to get ready for that morning jog, you seem very determined to get yourself into fitness.

Yes well, I looked into the mirror and realized, I could do much better I was lacking just alittle around the edges, and you know me when I put my mind to something nothing can take it off. And speaking off, why don't we do alittle something before we go downstairs.- Sir James

Um, I don't think that's such a good idea, we shouldn't keep everyone else waiting, they'll start wondering what's going on.

What's really going on here? We've been married for over 6 months now and we have yet to consummate our marriage, is there something your not telling me? - Sir James

No, no there's nothing wrong please, your just overthinking it.

Is there...another man? Are you really cheating on me with some other man that surely doesn't have what I've got? -Sir James

No, there is no other man, trust me I would never be able to go with another man.

Then what? What's wrong with me, am I not good enough for you?- Sir James

No, it's not that it's just that I've never been with a man, so I'm scared to do anything like it, just the thought gives me goose bumps.

It's ok I'll go easy on you, and if you ever want me to stop I will.-Sir James

Ok, I think its time we join the others for dinner, we don't want to stay long and be rude.

{ I avoided her gaze as I made my way down the stairs, only looking at the server filling the plates. I took a deep breath before finally meeting her gaze and nodding my head to signal everything was ok.}

Wow the food today looks wonderful, I'm ready to dig in.- Sir James

Ehem* Yes it does, I'm sure we'll all pass out from a stuffed stomach.

So, Sir James, do you have anything special planned tonight? I was wondering if we could go for a stroll and catch up on stuff.- Beatrice

Oh, that's a wonderful idea big sister, but maybe we should do it tomorrow I may have some plans this evening, but I'll keep it in mind for tomorrow. -Sir James

Sure, um well I'm full so I'll just retire into bed early.- Beatrice

{ I flinched as she threw down her napkin and left the dining room, I knew she wanted to know what was going on, but I couldn't tell her just yet, there was too much going on and it would hurt her. I finished my meal and made my way to the bathroom.

I took off my dress and slipped into the tub, slowly pouring the water over my body. Rubbing the soap in my hand I soaped up my arms and legs and took up the cloth.

Mind if I join you?- Sir James
