ch.02 Fated mate

Red's P.O.V.

'thud!, thud!, thud!' someone knocked at the door while I'm brushing my teeth, "Red?" I'm shocked after hearing that voice behind the door, it was Caleb the unmated alpha from North Blue Moon Pack, "just a minute!" I shouted and quickly rinsed my mouth with water.

I walked to the door and open it. "what do you want?" he looked at me from head to toe "A mate" he smirked handing me a flower and winked at me, I was about to shut the door on his face but he stopped the door from shutting with his left hand.

"wait, I just want to talk" I rolled my eyes "come on give me a chance" he pleaded and I remained silent. "I didn't saw you on the pack house dining room so I thought I should come and visit you in your cabin" he mumbled, "what is it that you want to talk about?" I mumbled and folded my arms and he just looks at me smiling.

"Look I don't want to make this so sudden, uhmm but I don't have time to wait so I'll go straight to the point" I nodded "go on" I mumbled, "As you can see part of me came here with my father to find my mate" I sighed knowing this would be the reason why he wants to talk to me, "I have a mate" I lied "well that's quite unfortunate" he immediately frowned. "look I'm pretty sure there are many unmated females here, why not start with that?" I scoffed and he nodded, he looks like he is about to cry.

"If that is all , would you please excuse me,I have school to attend to" I mumbled "can I at least give you a ride?" I was walking out when he offered me a ride, I stopped and looked at him, he so attractive and all but he's not my mate, he's standing there waiting for my response. "Fine" he's frown disappeared and turn into a smile, he walked beside "can we hold hands?" I glared at him grinning at me, "you wish!"I scoffed, "I did" I snickered and he just chuckled and led me to where he parked his car. There's hope for him after all.

He's not entirely my type of a person, but he's sweet and have this sex appeal that makes any girl fall for him, bonus his attractive looks and physically fit body.

There's an awkward silence between me and him while we're on the way to my school and this awkward silence prompted him to say something. "You know, when I first saw you I thought you'd be a typical unmated wolf, but I was wrong" he broke the silence and I glanced at him, "You're the first one to reject me, I've been searching for someone like you, but when I did it wasn't meant to be since you already have a mate" he glanced at me and smiled "I'm sure you'll find that one person you're looking for" I smiled back at him. Goddess give me a mate, I don't want him to find out I lied to him...

He dropped me off at the school parking lot and I thanked him. "how bout a dinner!?" he shouted. " no thank you!" I chuckled and he just wave and drove off.

I walked towards the benches near the parking lot and sit there while waiting for Ava.

It's funny when 20 minutes ago you're lying to yourself and just prayed for the Goddess to grant your wishes like Bibbidi-bobbidi-boom!!

Wish granted, but with a twist.

While Ava run off to her class I followed him and observe in a distance, he is so easy on the eyes, I can already feel the mate bond pulling me. I think he's just a human and not a werewolf and I don't think I've seen him around this town either. If he is my going to be my mate I'm pretty sure the pack will not accept him and they will think I'm crazy for telling them that my mate is a human, this is probably a mistake by the Moon Goddess, but who am I to question her? but I'm an alpha. There must be a reason behind this fate. I just hope that he doesn't get himself a trouble with all this werewolf bullies around this school, speaking of the devil this mutt Jason is trolling my mate telling him the wrong direction to his subject, I would know, because I can hear what everybody is talking even in a long distance thanks to this heightened wolf senses.

Bbrrrrrrrnnnnnnnngggg!! the school bell rang and I growled knowing I couldn't do anything about it now.

Jason is my best friend along with Ava and they are both an omega, we've been friends since we were kids, both of them always get bullied on the pack and I couldn't help but pity them so whenever they are bullied I always stand up for them since I'm stronger than everyone else and that's how we became best friends.

Luckily I can avenge my mate right now since Jason and I have the same class on this hour, the moment our eyes meet he raises his hands and greeted me "good morning" he stood near enough and I smacked his head "Owwww! what the hell did I do?" he made a shocked face, "20 lapses for a week" I glared at him and went inside the classroom "what!? that's ridiculous! I didn't do anything!" he tries to reason and followed me inside the classroom.

Mrs. Evans stepped inside the room, "students take your seat and be quiet" I went and sat in the center 'he's my mate you asshole!' I mind linked Jason 'what? who?' he responded and I glared at him and he realized who I was talking about 'but he's a human' he scoffed at me 'I don't know why, but he is so stop messing with him or I'll make it 40 lapses' I responded and immediately cut the link and I just heard him growled in defeat.

After the class ended I walked around and trying to find him, he left a faint trail of his scent all over the place, he must've been running in circles trying to find the scheduled room for his 1st subject thanks to Jason, I sighed.

The extra time was running out so I decided to proceed to my next subject. I opened the door and a sweet scent of chocolate welcomed me and my heart just made a backflip, I immediately closed the door and I knew he is inside this room, I paced for a second and thought of an idea, since he is what I assumed 'a human' he won't be able to detect me like a werewolf would so I sprayed myself a perfume before entering the room hoping he would notice me.

I entered the room and noticed he is just sitting there silently listening to music while writing something on a book. I wanted to get his attention, so I walked passed him few times and I even drop a pen on purpose near his table and picked it up, but he isn't noticing me at all, I growled earning the attention of the werewolves instead.

I sat two chairs behind him, but not in the same row giving me a perfect angle to observe him.

I was daydreaming of him for a few minutes and suddenly I noticed Ms. Caroline talking to him and suggesting to have someone give him a tour and after hearing Ms. Caroline's suggestion I immediately jolted up from my chair making everyone have my attention, " I'll do it Ms. Caroline" I blurted out and I glanced at him. "thank you Ms. Blackwood" Ms. Caroline mumbled.

An hour later the class ended and I wasn't even paying attention to the introduction of Arts, I stormed out to the door waiting for him, his scent filled the classroom making Devon excited about our first meeting.

The moment he steps out of the room our eyes met and I couldn't helo but smile at him walking towards me, we introduced ourselves with a firm handshake, but the moment he tells me that he doesn't need and walked out made me sad and frowned. His simple words of rejecting me hurts me so much, but luckily I came up with an idea to turn this situation around.

I can't give up so easily, he's my mate and he doesn't know that because he's not a werewolf like me, and if I was the human and he's the werewolf he would probably do his best, because he would know that we are bound to be together, we are fated mates after all. A single rejection wouldn't hurt as much as losing your mate, so I have to be patient.

I followed him and walked on his pace, and talked to him.

I manage to convinced him and it's a step forward for me to claim him as mine, I was really happy, but I can't show him how happy it made me so I had to make a facade to hide my emotions.

I asked him to show me his scheduled so I can point out which rooms he will be attending next and I blurted out when I noticed that we have 3 the same classes.

     moments later Jason mink link me 'where are you?' I growled in my breath ' I'm with my mate, what do you want? ' I responded 'fund raising for this year?' he sarcastically replied 'Oh shit I forgot' I responded 'get in here and hurry up' he cuts the link. Unfortunately every little nice things must come to an end.

I went to the designated room for the meeting and Jason was already standing facing the school student officers to whether approve or disapprove the fund raising ideas and we really need this to support the cheerleading club. "sorry I'm late" I mumbled and they gestured me to stand up with Jason to introduce our fund raising idea.

Luckily they all approve our suggestion, tho I was struggling to explain on how it would work, but Jason just blurted out of impatience revealing our idea. The fund raising that we both Suggested was handcuff booth.

After the meeting Jason and I went to the cafeteria and met Ava on the way " So how was your date with your mate?" Jason smirked " It went well I guess, and his name is Finn" I mumbled not sure on what to do with my mate the next time we meet. "how about the 3 of us go have dinner outside the pack, my treat of course" Jason smirked, Ava and I hugged him "Awww thank you, it's been a while since we hangout outside the pack" I mumbled, "wait this isn't about me dismissing your punishment right?" I furrowed my brows at him, "oh no no, it's not,but since we're talking about it now, it would be nice if you could call it off" he grinned "what punishment? did I miss something?" Ava mumbled. " nice try, but the only way you're getting out of that is if you apologize to him directly, you do that then I might call it off" I snickered "Jason messed with Finn earlier after you went to class so I punished him for being such an asshole" I mumbled and glared at Jason, "Make that punishment double, he deserves it" Ava chuckled "hey, hey I don't know who he was so I thought it would be funny" he tries to reason and run his finger to through his hair "put your feet on his shoes, he probably have detention for being late on his first day" Ava rolled her eyes "you're even lucky enough to have an option to get away from your punishment." I mumbled "I know and I'm sorry" he pleaded looking at me with a puppy face. "stop making that face you look like dork" Ava and I chuckled. "anyway, I'll pick you both at the pack house tomorrow after school" we both nodded and head into different direction to proceed to the next class.

Today Finn and I only have one 1 subject similar, so after the whole afternoon without seeing Finn I decided to went home and head to my cabin.
