Prince tensed up. His reaction was simply confusing that it made Shaun raise his brows.
He meekly asked, ‘Uhm. Is it about your past? I mean, maybe, about you and Rose?’
‘Why are you being weird about it?’
‘Me? I’m not being weird. I am simply asking a question. So? Is it about that?’
‘It is.’
Prince became silent upon getting his answer. He was conflicted. His face started to turn pale.
‘It’s cool. Don’t worry.’ Shaun slid down the car window seemingly wanting to enjoy the wind buzzing against his ears.
‘What do you mean? Why should I worry? It’s not as if it’s your first time writing books.’ Prince secretly looked at Shaun side-eyeing him.
‘I already know about you and Rose. I may not have been reachable for the last five years but I sure hear several things. After all, the two of you are not simple people. I am not a caveman without care about the world.’ Shaun closed the window chuckling.
