Reminiscing

After the successful Evaluation Week, Raven can't help but reminisce about the day. Raven first saw Faye Chennester.

Raven recalls as if it was just yesterday, he sighs, and his thought starts to drift away.

Their seniors always give tasks and errands for beginners. Raven as a Hamilton is an exemption.

One day while he is helping with his club member's task. He is sorting the member application form for Racing Club.

One of the member's profile caught Raven's attention. Raven read her profiles: Faye Chennester, she is also a rookie and freshmen like him.

Raven gets excited to meet the girl behind that profile. A few days pass, he found out that the President of the Racer Club is courting Faye.

"Faye is Chennester's future Heiress; she is a brain and beauty. It is very challenging to have her, and it's a competition for her suitors, but I'm sure I will win." Francis boasts to his club members as Raven overheard his seniors talk

Raven can't help but think that the odds are not in favor of him. He fears that Faye would fall for their club president's affection towards her, but he is wrong.

Faye does not show any interest; she seems not to mind Francis' presence and does not care about his affection.

Francis comes in the field, command all the freshmen to line up. He yells in each of their faces,

"You, you are weak, you will never learn, you will never be good, you will never surpass me. I will always beat you all up, and you will all eat my dust." Francis yells at the member's faces; he walks like a prominent leader.

Francis, their club president, bullies them and "power play" over them, which pisses Raven off a lot.

Raven watches the scenarios unfazed; he witnesses this all the time how the higher rank uses their power to belittle those that are lower rank.

Raven is Hamilton. A much higher rank from Francis's family in the Business World. He is a Hamilton; nobody touches him or dares to yells at him, or else they will face his father's wrath.

Raven sigh. He wanted to speak for the freshmen that Francis constantly bullied, but he doesn't want to put himself in trouble in the first year of his College life.

Everyone was astonished when a beautiful woman gets down on her horse,

"Belittle those who are a lower rank than you to make yourself feel better; pathetic." Faye Chennester stares at Francis fiercely.

Raven fear that Francis may piss off and hurt her, Francis sniffs, and face her.

"Oh,' the Heiress with no riches is here. You such a beauty to behold, Faye. None on the campus can compare to your beautiful face but what people thought of you is all in their minds. You are a Princess without a crown," Francis said bitterly.

"A man with a secure position given by his father said to me that, you know nothing. I' am a Chennester and will remain to be. Please don't go around believing in rumors." Faye answers him very calmly.

"Rumors," Francis laughs audibly.

"Yes, rumors, and I can't believe a man like you do spend time nagging freshmen and low ranks and picking up rumors like girls that don't have anything to do but to chit chat and chill." Faye glares at him bravely.

Francis lost it; his voice gets loud ", You!" his eyes widened.

Raven admits that the first time he sees Faye in his bare eyes. He is also stunned by his beauty, but Raven tries his best not to make it visible; he decides to intervene.

"I think Francis, as the President of the Club, you should stay calm and not show this kind of behavior to our club members. They might change a club for that reason, and I think you don't want to make them leave. The club records reflect in our grades. It reflects our University performance. Your parents might not want that," Raven states calmly, looking at the man in front of him that currently losing his cool.

Francis has no choice. Raven's family influence is no joke. Everyone knows no one messes with his family, and Francis has no choice but to back out.

Raven knows that in their University, they are a prominent handsome man than him, especially their seniors who are manlier than him.

He felt he could not stand a chance against Faye's admirers; that's why he decides to keep it to himself.

Raven is looking in Faye's direction after that commotion, but he sees her walking away, which makes him sigh.

Raven is much delighted to know that the girl is so picky and snob when it comes to her suitors; his interest in her grew fonder each day.

Raven secretly stalks Faye's social media account, and he collects info about her.

And knows her family background; that is the time, he knows that his family and Faye's family are not on "good terms" when it comes to business matters.

Raven's father is trying to block and minimize Faye's family business power and business expansion.

Raven can't deny the fact that his father treats Faye's family with bitterness.

When Faye's father is still alive, he rejects his father's business proposal at that time; he most needed it. Mr. Hamilton takes it to his heart and begins to feel salty towards Faye's family.

It does not favor him; that's why he just let the time pass by as his seniors began to trust him and make him the crowned club president. He won via votes; most of the numbers come from his seniors.

On that day, he notices Faye become bitter towards him. They are bickering over the small stuff, argue over petty things that piss him off too.

Raven sometimes feels that Faye is intently doing it, he thinks she is also aware of their family's inner war. Raven tries to control and restricts his feelings, but they are a moment he let himself loosen up a little.

Starting a friendship in the times of their silent war can't do him any harm since he tries to start making things a little different since he is quite tired in their petty fights. Raven tries to starts some changes since their evaluation week, and so far, he thinks he is doing fine. He smiles through his thoughts.

Raven is aware that getting close to Faye will not please his father and will bring him trouble, but he can't help but be attracted to her even more.

Raven research enough; he gathers useful details about Faye Chennester. Their family owns the famous Chennester's Airlines.

In the morning news, the Business News column reports Faye's grand birthday party and the most talked about gift at her birthday given by her father. It mostly talks about topics in social media. The videos are shared, and the most viral videos are circulating on social media.

Faye is terrified by sight, and she pitied her mother; she wanted to hug her and calm her down, but she doesn't acknowledge her. She cried the whole day until they are no tears falling anymore.

Raven research all of that information he can find by himself.

Raven can't digest all the information easily; Faye's life is hard at a younger age.

Raven knows Faye's step-father takes over the business and be the CEO of their company; she is still incapable of managing it.

Raven family riches, status, and wealth is no a joke either. Being on the top of his every game is his priority. The top mission is to please his mother. His mother smiles because she is proud of her son.

Raven wants his father's recognition too, but Mrs. Chennester's love and support are what keeps him going.

It is the reason even he is having a hard time proving himself to his father and pleased him. He never shows his weakness, and he always assures her mother that he is doing fine.

"Raven as my one and only successor and son. I know you will never fail me," his father's voice echoes in his head.

Raven's frustrations in his situation, he loves his family, but he also wanted to love Faye and be part of her life.

Their families have internal war, and he will never want Faye to be associates with that mess.

Raven's cellphone rings as his father's voice echoes in his head.

"It seems you're having fun in the Evaluation Week. Remember, my eyes are on you." his father speaks.

"Why do you call father?" Raven curious

"Come to the house, will talk about it" Raven's father is authoritative.
