Sudden Accident

Faye is on lead, but there is a heavy feeling in the sudden collisions. The game MC announces no one is hurt. She feels relieved.

Ralph and Raven clear the path for her as she is taking the lead.

Faye knows Raven is next to her, driving fast to catch up. She is focused on the road when she notices someone strolling casually. Faye's speed is currently 200mph.

Faye's impulse is to stop the car, but it startles her that the man walks in her direction; she needs to stop her car.

Faye holds a grip on her steering wheel, she hits the break, the guy keeps walking, and to her surprise, Faye sees his face.

The man's face is visible, and she knows him. Faye is disturbed. She knows hitting the break-in at that speed will cause a collision, and the man walks in her direction. Accidents are impossible to avoid.

"Stop," Faye yells.

Faye startles as she does not notice Raven's car pass through her. Their cars collide with each other; it hit hard.

Everyone watching the screen is all stunned, gasp heard in unison as Faye cars hit Raven's car.

Everyone closes their eyes in the accident,

"What happens?" People in the crowd murmuring

Everyone is shocked, including the MC. The media keep on reporting amid the accident; it is hot item news for media people in the field.

The medical staff quickly responds; Raven immediately gets out of his car. He turns in Faye's direction before he falls off the ground. Faye is unconscious, lays in her car seat.

Ralph immediately comes in rescue with his teammates; he notices a shadow fleeing away from the area.

Ralph has a bad feeling over it, but he shrugs the idea and focuses on his teammate's situation.

Raven and Faye are both unconscious; the medical team is carefully taking Faye out in her car before the worst could happen.

The staff of the game; advise everyone to leave fast. The medical staff moves quickly. Raven and Faye is in the ambulance and headed to the nearest hospital.

Raven and Faye have their respective ambulance; Ralph decides to come with Faye ambulance.

Ralph is genuinely worried over Raven too, but Faye is his priority.

"You know if Raven doesn't do that, Faye will clash in that psycho and kill him. It would be traumatizing for her." Ken blurted out.

"That man, why he has to be there from the first place?" Czerene frustrated.

They are in the waiting lobby. There is a television for people's entertainment; flash news gets the attention of everyone.

BREAKING NEWS:

"The mad man in the race charity event captured a while ago by the Zenith University Council Board. In the live report earlier, the man walks without fear in the racing course while Faye Chennester racing. The lead racer of the competition driving at a 200mph speed. The accidents would have killed the person, but shockingly, Raven Hamilton, the second car racer, tries to avoid such horrible death by making his car as a shield. Cars collide that injured and hospitalized both of the racers. The racers are now in the hospital.

The hospital is exclusive; it is no ordinary hospital. The lobby is grand, and the designs of furniture are exquisite and one of a kind.

Mr. Hamilton's face is straight and doesn't show any reaction; he seems calm and collected.

Mr. Hamilton looks at them and tilts his head as if acknowledging their presence.

The doctor gives them a timid smile ", Don't worry, you're friend is safe. She has bruises, fractures, and injuries, but in time and therapy, it will heal."

"I will leave you both here to take care of her since I think her parents can't." the doctor's voice is gloomy.

"Thank you, doctor," Czerene replied politely.

"Good thing Faye is safe," Leigh exclaims.

"Ken, go and check Raven." Czerene urges him.

"Okay, I leave you guys here for a while," Ken said as he exits the room.

Ken sees Mr. Hamilton leaves Raven's room. Mrs. Hamilton is in the room.

Ken sighs as he doesn't need to encounter the cold man.

Ken knocks in Raven's private room. Mrs. Hamilton kindly opens the door and smiles at him.

"Ken, come here. I've been waiting for your visit. Where is Lexus?" Mrs. Hamilton asks as she welcomes Ken.

"Lexus," Ken clears his throat.

"Madame, Lexus is shocked in all that happens. He needs to recollect himself. Lexus is an emotional person; he said he visits later when he calms down." Ken replied, doing his best not to stutter.

"Oh'' Lexus, he must have been affected badly," Mrs.Chennester commented.

Ken clears his throat and tries to smile at Mrs. Chennester's remarks.

"How is Raven, Madame?" Ken asks nervously.

"Oh' the doctor said he is fine, he has some bruises, but the doctor assured us they take care of him till he fully recovers." Mrs. Chennester answers timidly.

"I'm glad. Raven made a great decision. It is horrifying if that psycho died." Ken commented.

"The news says it is that woman stalker, to help others in need is okay but risking his life like that. He scares me." Mrs. Chennester almost about to cry.

Ken holds Mrs. Chennester's hand "Faye, hit the break, the car speed makes it hard to stop, and accidents are unavoidable. Madame, your son, made the right decisions to save the situation. Raven is brave for doing that; you raise a good son." Ken praises Mrs. Chennester makes her smile.

Ken stays for a while looking at his unconscious friend when his cellphone rings; he looks at it, and his forehead knotted for unknown numbers.

Ken smile at Mrs. Chennester ", Madame, I need to answer my call."

"Okay," Mrs. Chennester smiles.

Ken pushes the answer button "Hello",

"Ken, go to the place that no one will hear you."

Ken's eyes widened; he knew very well who that voice belongs. He gasps but remains calm.

Raven goes out of the building; he stays in the hospital garden and finds a spot where no one can hear them.

"Lexus, where are you?" Ken tries to tone down his voice.

Ken is aware of his surrounding; he notices Lexus's voice is a hush.

"Why are you speaking that way," Ken asks curiously.

"What happened to you? Do you know what happens to Raven?" Ken asks continuously.

Ken hears Lexus sigh ", Ken, I can't be there, it's dangerous. They are after me." Ken speaking fast

"After you, who is after you?" Ken asks to confuse.

"It doesn't matter; the thing is, I need to tell you important matters." Lexus continues.

"Why are you using unknown numbers. Where are you?" Ken asks desperately.

Lexus answers, ", I'm using a disposable phone; Listen, Ken, I know what happens to Raven and Faye. Ken, please trust me on this part, don't find me, make a lot of excuses to Raven when he asks about me. I need to go now." Lexus hangs up.

Ken doesn't want to end up the conversation. He keeps on talking. "Hello, hello, hello" he knows the calls cut, but Ken is hopeful.

Ken doesn't have any idea what is happening. The only thing he knows is Raven is in the hospital while Lexus is gone out of nowhere.

Ken sighs; he wishes that everything is all bad dreams.
