1 : "An unwanted message"

Checking his email he didn't expect to see a message that had been sent by a friend from his old school, it's too bad that he betrayed his friendship by not telling him that his boyfriend... ex-boyfriend was cheating on him with someone else, and to be clear; with a woman.

Park hesitated to go into the mail and see what it was about, but this one had the title "¡Urgent, read it Jamie!"; that way anyone would be at least a little curious and even scared, and Jamie got both. He pursed his lips while showing a sagging smile, closed his eyelids tightly and clicked on the message, opened one of his eyes and wanted to cry when he saw what it was about. She had been sent a picture of her ex-boyfriend while hugging her current partner, she was hurting him, she wasn't going to deny it since Jamie still loved him, a couple of months is not enough time to forget a great love, at least Chandan had been that for him.

When he wanted to remove the message his eyes went to the words written under the photo.

-Dude... I know you still hate me, I get it, I was a complete fool not to tell you that Chandan was being unfaithful to you-

Jamie stopped reading for a moment, did he really have to be reminded? He painfully resumed his reading.

-I know that's why you moved... what I want to tell you is that Chandan will go to study at the school you're in too. Her parents made the decision because of a work issue. I just wanted you to know. I hope you didn't ignore my message and read it in time, Chandan will be there in a week. I love you old friend :(-

—Shit— He closed the laptop still in a state of shock. His gaze remained fixed and his head turned completely off so that after a few minutes, about 7 minutes to be exact, he reacted by jumping from his bed to the floor —No!! Why, why, why!?—

And such a thing could only happen to him, How could her ex-boyfriend ever show up in her life again? Couldn't she choose another school to go to? Jamie Park would go crazy, he hated his so-called bad luck. She hated Chandan for being unfaithful. He hated his ex-best friend for not telling her about her cheating ex-boyfriend. She hated still loving that cheater. In short, Jamie hated a lot, but with good reason.

—What am I going to do!?, he can't know that I study there... What if he already knows!? No!... I need help!— He was really upset, very upset. He needed help urgently and who better to do that than his now new best friend —Stefan... Stef!— I had called him on his cell phone —Come on, answer it—

—Yes?... Who's calling at this hour?—

—Stef!—

—Jamie? Do you know what time it is?— I was dragging my words.

—Stef, my friend! Remember I told him about my stupid cheating ex-boyfriend!— He ignored him and didn't let him talk at all —He will study at my same school in a week! What am I going to do!? He will see my miserable state! What am I going to do!?—

—First of all, calm down Jam. And... tomorrow I'll pick you up for school and you'll tell me all about it in detail... because i'm dead asleep now, and you know it. Yes, Jam?—

Jamie bit his nervous lip and nodded —Y-yes, buddy... but tomorrow you have to come!—

—I promise Jam, now go make yourself a cup of chamomile so you can sleep, but I doubt you'll do it because of the nerves you're carrying... Good night, Jam—

—Good night, Stef...—

He ended up hanging up and jumped into his bed, only to throw a 9-year-old's tantrum —one week... One week!—

—Go to sleep, Jamie!— The boy quickly hid between his sheets when he heard his sleeping mother's scream.

And as Stefan had said, Jamie didn't sleep a wink all night.

.

.

.

Stefan rang the doorbell of his friend's house with his unoccupied hand because in the other hand he had a cup of chamomile tea because, yes, he knew very well that his friend had not heard him and that he had surely stayed up all night. Stef knew his friend's nerves.

The door opened and Stefan spoke with a comforting smile —Jam... you didn't sleep, did you?— He put her hand on the bulging cheek of the little boy who was shaking his head —Come on, honey, take this and...— He handed him the cup and stirred the inside of his bag —I made you a sandwich, your favorite, of blackberry jam, peanut butter and some honey—

Jamie took a good sip of the tea and a big bite of that delicious sandwich, he was very hungry, his nerves were making him beastly hungry. Stef waited for the child to finish his breakfast and they headed off to school.

—Now if Jam, tell me what happened so you can call me at 3:00 in the morning and be this upset—

—I'm sorry...— Stef denied with a smile —Brad, he sent me a message—

Stefan opened his mouth without believing it —Did that shameless man dare to talk to you— he asked indignantly as he was aware of who that boy nicknamed Brady was, because when Jamie took him in confidence and became a good friend of Stefan he told him how he had suffered from all those betrayals from the people around him. —And what did he tell you?—

—If... he wanted me to know that my ex will be studying at the same school where I am now in a week's time—

—That asshole, couldn't he choose another school?— He commented with hatred.

—I don't know Stef, but... What will I do now? Just look at me!— He stopped his steps —I'm disgusting! Because of him I look miserable!— His eyes started to itch and showed a slight red, he was so eager to go away and cry, he didn't lack desire.

—Don't say that Jam, you're the cutest thing in the world. That asshole doesn't even deserve that you shed one more tear for him, he doesn't deserve you— He comforted him in her arms.

Jamie wiped his eyes and the snot from his nose with his diver's sleeve, frowned and made a decision. He would show his ex-boyfriend that he could have someone much cooler than him. He would also show her that she no longer suffered for him and that he had overcome him with ease, even though it is not true, but he would show her.

—I will get someone better, much more attractive and cooler than him. Someone that everyone is dying to be with—

Stefan smiled and nodded —That's right, Jam— He stirred up the child's light hair.

—And I know who's the one, Yoan Min— He smiled broadly, but Stef did the opposite, erasing his smile.

—Yoan Min, Jam, I... I don't think he's the right one for it...—

—It is! He's got practically the whole school at his feet, he's really popular—

—But he is also a total heartless and rude, to say the least. Jam, stay away from him, okay?—

—B-but...— Jamie pouted, yet he didn't convince Stef because the boy was doing it for the sake of his little friend.

—Promise me you won't do anything crazy to link Yoan— Jamie whispered silently "I promise you..." —What? -I didn't hear you—

Jamie sighed, —I promise you— Stef smiled more quietly.

Both again resumed their walk and got lost talking about other subjects, it was Stef who chose to do so because he believed it was necessary for his friend to clear his mind, but anyway the chestnut tree still had its head and thoughts on the above.

Once they arrived, they took their seats at their respective desks. Slowly the rest of their classmates began to arrive, with the famous Yoan Min being the last to cross the door. Jamie watched the cold boy from the middle and came to a conclusion...

—He is definitely the right one— he whispered without being heard.
