The Park boy sat waiting for Yoan's arrival at the entrance of the school, it had been about four to nine times where he had checked his cell phone to see the time, and well, Yoan was running late; it was no surprise that this was happening, so Jamie was currently nervous and somewhat tense. The thought that he would also be late caused his current state.
—I'm about to miss the first class— He mumbled listlessly, sighed and closed his eyes in order to relax both physically and mentally, "Come on, it's only one class, what you have to do is worth it!" he shouted in his mind, —I guess I just have to wait— he mumbled again, opening his eyes.
Exactly 17 minutes passed, Jamie had chosen to distract himself by listening to music, and while he was watching the street he was humming —Hey nareul mitneundamyeon hands up, chong! jojun! balsa! ... not not today... hey not not today, hey not not today, hey not not today, chong! jojun! balsa!— And what used to happen happened, he started humming loudly, his body moved to the rhythm and believe Yoan Min that kid looked funny, yet he didn't smile as he was being too loud.
—Not not Today!—
—Hey, you're ruining my morning— He spoke to her, but Jamie found himself with his eyes closed singing and moving his body in a not bad way, you could even say that he knew the choreography of that song to perfection.
Yoan had two options, the first was to simply ignore the little nuisance who was putting on a show at the entrance; the second option is to stop the boy from making a fool of himself. He opted for the second for the simple fact that he needed to screw up someone else's day, and what better than to be rude to the first person who crossed your path?.
The boy with a dead appearance due to the pallor of his skin took hold of the short boy's contrary shoulders and removed him in his place, of course when he saw the boy open his eyes and look at him in a frightened manner he did not let him go, he simply removed the headphones from the younger boy's ears and looked at him in a contemptuous manner.
—You already look pathetic, but what you were doing now made you look like an idiot—
Jamie swallowed saliva and lowered his gaze, Yoan was insulting him and his head only remained on the music still playing through his headphones. —I'm sorry...— stammered Park to Yoan's surprise.
—Just that? What a wimp— he snorted, letting go, how come he was apologizing to the person who was insulting him? —Move, seeing your face and listening to you bothers me—
Jamie covered his face with both hands and Min froze, was he hearing sobbing? —Really?— He looked at him, and indeed, the annoying boy was crying, drawing the attention of the people passing by. —Could you at least not be so loud?—
The boy with tears in his eyes raised his head to look at him, —I-I couldn't buy your new album...— He spoke in sobs.
"Did he even listen to me?": Yoan asked himself a bit annoyed, smiled bitterly and shook his head and then headed towards the inside of the school.
—No-no!— Jamie realized that the person was there, Yoan Min was the person he was waiting for, —I-I wa-waiting for you!— He wiped the tears and some drops from his face and eyes, ran to stand next to him, —Can we talk?— he asked shyly.
Yoan narrowed her eyelids, looking at him, —You come out of nowhere and start harassing me, should I break your teeth?—
—I didn't come out of nowhere... we are partners— Park played with his fingers, —Besides, I'm not a-stalking you, I just want to ask you a f-favor, j-just that— he looked at him shyly. Yoan quickly and helplessly compared the boy's gaze to that of Mort the mouse lemur from Madagascar, don't blame him, his silly brother used to watch those animations..
—I will be clear, you will tell me what you want, I will answer and you will not cross my path again, understood— Jamie looked doubtful and whispered "uh... I don't think so". —What did you say?—
—O-okay!— He crossed his fingers, he was lying because he knew very well that Yoan would not accept it quickly, he had to be insistent during the days he had left.
—Then speak— He walked towards a tree and took a seat leaning on the trunk, Jamie followed him but didn't copy him, he just took a seat next to him without leaning on the trunk.
The little boy sighed, looked to his sides just to make sure he was not alone because if Yoan got angry and wanted to hit him there would be people who might jump to his defense, maybe... well, Jamie would take the risk —I want you to pretend to be... my boyfriend...—
—Aha... you're gay?—
"Oh, he took it better than yesterday!" he thought. —Yes..." He smiled nervously—
—Well, my answer is no. Now stop fucking with me, I'm sleepy—
—Buuut!—
—What had we agreed on?— Min frowned, he remained with his eyes closed.
—Cross your fingers, so it doesn't count...— Jamie used to be childish like that, it was his nature and no one could change it, he was born that way, poor thing. Yoan opened his eyes, watched him and quickly stretched out his arms and grabbed the collar of the boy's wool sweater; he brought their faces closer and spoke:—I'm not a fag like you, so I hope you'll stop fucking with me—
—B-but you'd practically be faking it, so you wouldn't be one...— Jamie smiled nervously as he finished explaining —Just-
—You two!— A third voice was heard and was clearly addressing them, —I want you in the principal's office, can't you just wait until classes are over to make out?, I know you're at that hormonal age, but have more respect for the school!—
Yoan Min listened dumbfounded at the stupid things that man was talking about, Jamie limited himself to only look embarrassed.
—To the address, quick!— Neither of them could speak as the man with the circular glasses took the audacity to take their arms and lead them quickly to the place, the address.
Once there, the man with glasses explained the situation to the man who owned the office, —What they did was wrong, because first of all they missed a class and will have an afternoon. And besides Min, I thought we had agreed that you would change your behavior—
—He wasn't doing anything wrong!—
—I know didn't, you were just spending a few minutes with your boyfriend, what is wrong is that they are not inside the school during classes—
—My boyfriend? Hey, I'm not gay and this guy is not my boyfriend.—
The director sighed, thinking about the situation —It must be difficult not to be able to tell your relationship freely, I understand. I also understand that they are in a difficult stage of their lives, adding the hormones...—. "That's what I told them, Dir. Jack", was interrupted by the man with glasses, the director nodded and continued —People's prejudices... so many things, they should attend a workshop that will be held this afternoon in their own classroom— He advised.
The next thing Min would do would be to let the idiot they had as a director talk and turn a deaf ear, and on his way out of the director's office he would take it upon himself to give them a few good whacks at the guy sitting next to him, Park would be his punching bag.
Jamie looked excitedly at the pale, bad idea, his smile vanished from his face, Yoan had a rather sinister aura about him. But come on, he would be optimistic anyway, at least he was accomplishing something? Was he, not really, since he didn't need the rest of them to think they were boyfriend and girlfriend, although it also helped; he needed Yoan to agree to be his fake boyfriend for at least a few weeks.
—I will tell you the anecdote about my brother, he is openly homosexual, and...— Director Wang took a good few minutes telling that anecdote, he got some laughs from Jamie and also from his "secretary", the man with glasses was just sitting next to him. The only serious one there was Yoan, cursing endlessly.
—I hope my brother will be an example to you, love is still love regardless of gender—
—I'm touched— Min snorted, Dir. Wang smiled thankfully, Yoan rolled his eyes again, —Can we go, I don't want to be late for another class— Of course it was a lie, he would waste his time bullying Jamie and then who knows what.
—You can both go, and remember the workshop, we will be waiting for you.—
—Yes, of course, I'll be the first one to arrive—
—Way to talk, Min!—
Did Dir. Wang not know what sarcasm was? Obviously not, he didn't.
Yoan was the first to leave, followed by Jamie, —Follow me— ordered the pale one.
—Where to?— He took a few steps backward as he clasped his hands together on his chest, a sign of fear.
—To a place where your screams can't be heard, I plan to beat your pathetic existence— Yoan snarled coming closer, intimidating him even more.
—I-I think I'll go then...— He wanted to run away but Yoan was faster and put him on his shoulder, and no matter how much Jamie's restless movements, he didn't let go —You made me lose my patience.—
—Sorry, I won't be so annoying next time!—
—Next time?, do you still plan to keep bugging me?—
—I just want you to do me a favor! Please!— An irritated Yoan didn't think much of it and gave him a loud slap on the butt. —Ah— the boy shrieked, —That hurt!—
—Then shut your mouth you brat, do you really not realize the situation you are in?, I'm about to make your face unrecognizable— he walked towards the stairs and up the stairs.
—After hitting me, would you accept to be my boyfriend— Jamie was still rubbing his webbed buttock..
Yoan stopped his steps, would it be a bad idea to throw him down the stairs?, with the bad luck of his last days, maybe the boy didn't even get a scratch —You are a real nuisance, are you always like that, or are you just acting like that to annoy me?—
—Stef says I can be stubborn at times.—
—Who the fuck is Stef?— Jamie wanted to tell him, but was interrupted, —I don't care—. "Then why do you ask": Was what the little boy thought. —He's right anyway—
—Uh?—
—We arrived— Yoan turned the door knob and the door opened, he entered and locked the door, —You will learn the hard way not to ruin my bad day— but when he wanted to let the boy off his shoulder, the boy clung to his waist, refusing to be let down and receive a painful beating, —Let go of me!—
—No, you're going to hit me if I do!—
—No, I won't— Jamie would laugh at that obvious lie if he wasn't in trouble, he refused to let go. —Shit, I'll hit you twice as hard—
—Then I'll hold on twice as long!— And so he did, he hugged Min's waist much tighter, —This wouldn't be happening if you had agreed to be my boyfriend from the beginning!—
—Okay, that's it, enough. Now it's my fault?— And it's not that he wanted to smack the kid's ass, but it was the only way he could find to get Park to let go.
—Ouch, it hurts, silly— he shrieked in a minor voice, —It will be red and I won't be able to sit down— Min turned a deaf ear, and went on with her thing, apparently it was working as she felt her waist slowly being released..
—Come on, they're just pats— He smiled amusingly sinister —And of course, you can be sure it will hurt to sit down—
And while they were doing... whatever they were doing, on the other side of the door were some of Yoan's acquaintances; they were standing with their mouths ajar and with eyes the size of dinner plates. Was what they were hearing real?
—I knew Yoan used this place for that sort of thing, but does he do it with men too?— One of them spoke up.
—I didn't know Yoan was gay...—
—I think we should leave and let them go on... that sounds violent and I don't want to have nightmares today— He grimaced —Jonas, should we tell Nathan?—
—Are you crazy?— whispered the green-haired girl and Jonas in a shout, —As homophobic as he is— continued Jonas, —I'm sure the two of them will fight to the death. Don't say anything, especially you, Hanne!—
—What, what did I miss— she said, offended.
—It's just that you have a big mouth, now let's go—
Jonas received a couple of blows and they left the place, they didn't hear or see anything, in theory they hadn't seen anything. They would not say anything.
—Did you hear that— Jamie asked and Min wouldn't fall for it, he wouldn't let the boy get away, —I'm serious!—
—Just let me catch you and you're a dead gay man.—
—You fool! Just be my boyfriend!— Jamie ran off again.
