'Alright! Here it goes. Whatever the outcome is, leave it to Batman. - wait! It seems wrong. Argh! Whatever.'
Aviore took a deep breath as the lady approached the gate.
"How may I Help you?" the woman politely asked. The lady is around her mid 20's.
"uhhh, I'm looking for Mr. Tanduay Remilton. Is he there?" She asked nervously.
"May I know who's looking for him?"
"Aviore Lacorte! I'm being sent here ... by Uhh ... an old man." She replied scratching her forehead for not knowing the name of the old man.
"Is that so? Wait a minute and I'll ask. He's right here now."
"Thank you!"
The girl smiled and started walking back.
"Are you sure this is the right place? Why are you looking for him?" Norton suddenly asked.
"You? Are you sure this is his house?" she questioned back. She didn't dare to answer his question. He will probably just make fun of her answer.
"Of course. He's the only one with a name like that here."
Aviore can't hide her chuckle at his answer. The name is really funny. Who would name their child like that?
"Thank you for bringing me here." Aviore said now looking at Norton.
"Your welcome! By the way, can I ask for your number?" he asked rubbing his neck.
"sorry, I don't have a cellphone!"
Shocked is what she saw on his face. She can't blame him, she's probably the only millennial who doesn't have a cellphone.
"A-Are you serious?" His face still couldn't believe it.
Aviore nodded as confirmation.
"Wow!" He added not in amazement but of bewilderment.
Norton took a pocket notebook from his bag and wrote something, tore it and gave it to her.
Aviore looked at it. Norton's name and cellphone number was written on the paper. She smiled at the thought that two handsome guy gave their number to her. First Trover and now Norton.
"Call me if you have a cellphone or when you need me."
"Thank you" She replied smiling. "Alright! You can go now."
"I'll wait until they let you in."
"Okay!" she faced the massive gate where the lady from the house is getting near to them.
"Are you nervous?" She was surprised by Norton's question.
She nodded in response.
"Don't worry, if they don't accept you, I'll take you wherever you want to go. So don't worry." Norton said smiling.
Aviore smiled to what he said. It was really good that he met the man. "Thank you! I'm really glad I met you."
"You're welcome. I'm glad I met you too."
They both smiled to each other.
Silence enveloped them as they waited for the lady to come near them.
Her chest throbbed quickly afraid of being kicked out.
"Come in now. He seems to be waiting for you earlier." The lady said as she open the gate.
Her brows furrowed. "R-really?" She was surprised by what the lady said. He's been waiting? How did that happen? "He's waiting for me? Does he know me?" She asked confused.
"That's what he said, why?" The lady's face was also confused.
"Ahh ... Hehe ... Nothing. Alright, let's go in."
Before going in, Aviore faced Norton. "Thank you again. Be careful on the road."
"Your welcome! All right, go in." Norton answered smiling at her.
Aviore replied his smile and followed the lady. On the background, she heard the engine of the motorbike so she turned and waved at him. Norton did the same.
The house looks wider in the inside. The plants are well organized and trimmed.
The ground is covered with bermuda grass. Concrete footwalks are placed to different paths including to the main door of the house. Different kinds of rose bushes are aligned in the concrete fence. There are also some potted plants placed in layered wooden rock beside the house wall and some big bushes of if she's not mistaken is called Pandakaki are scattered at the yard. The front yard is wide.
As her eyes wandered, she accidentally stepped wrongly that made her fall sideways. She could feel her shoulder being dislocated. She shouted out of pain. How clumsy of her.
"Oh my God! what happened to you?" The lady immediately assisted her.
"What's wrong? Oh, your arm looks dislocated!" The lady said in worried tone.
Aviore burst into tears. This is the first time that someone cared for her. If only her mother is like this. Remembering them makes her even sadder.
"Wait! Why are you crying? Does it hurt so much?" The lady asked in panic.
Aviore just nodded in response.
The lady quickly called a colleague and took Aviore to a room. The Don immediately called his personal doctor.
Aviore was amazed at the arrangement of the room. It's big enough to bring a basketball team inside. The paint on the wall is white. Curtains are pink with black lines on the edges. The same goes for the bed. The bed is large enough for two people and there is still space left. The room is obviously feminine.
Aviore felt shy with the thought that the Don helped her even though they don't know each other. She is sitting on the bed when the doctor arrived with the lady she doesn't know the name yet.
The doctor is young. Probably around his early 30's. He's a good looking guy.
"Doc this is Aviore" the lady pointed at her. "Aviore this is Doctor Morse" She pointed to the doctor.
"Good morning Doc. Morse!" Aviore greeted.
"Good morning too. Let's check your arm." Doctor morse said as he was organizing his equipment.
Aviore fidgetted. She is afraid to take off her jacket. They will surely see her bruises. "uhh .. Do I need to remove the jacket?"
"Yes, Of course. I need to check your arm. Why, is there a problem?" He asked.
'Oh oh What to do? Should I make an alibi? What if they call a police? I will have to face my poster parents again. They will beat me again. They will ---'
"Aviore? Are you listening?" The doctor asked.
"H-Huh?" She was too focused on thinking of thinking that she didn't notice the doctor talking to her.
"Let me help you take your jacket off." The lady said.
Even though she's nervous, she let the lady help her. When her left arm was finally exposed, the lady and the doctor gasped.
"Aviore, why do you have so many bruises?" the lady asked hesitantly.
The doctor didn't say anything. He just looked at Aviore as if he has the same question and waiting for her answer.
"Uhh, I-It's nothing ... It's ok." She answered uneasily.
"Please remove her jacket completely." Doctor Morse order to the lady. It made Aviore even more nervous. The lady followed him and slowly removed her jacket from her right hand with a fracture. She felt her hand slightly stretched as the lady do so. It made her cringe in pain.
"Can you raise the hem of your clothes Aviore?" The doctor's voice is serious and there's no lust on his face. Aviore knew he just really wanted to see if she still had contusions on her body. Though hesitant, she began to raise her clothes with her left hand to the bottom of her chest. If she don't agree, they will definitely force her.
The lady was taken aback. She turned behind Aviore and lifted the hem of her shirt at the back. "Oh my God! Doc, she's got a lot of contusions." The lady was in tears as she watched and caressed the contusion on her back.
Aviore bit her lip.
