Gilded Age: The New Divinity

Vincent leaned over his brother. Dawn had passed sometime ago. He had already used the wild, and returned with a spider the size of his hand. Vincent reached into his pocket and pulled it out.

The spider reminded him of the Ra'shi'ta, which was a venomous eight-legged creature– Wait could this be venomous? In that case, dropping it on Creed would not be good. Vincent held the squirming arachnid, as it crawled over his hand.

Creed awoke and the first thing he saw was a creature's eyes peering down at him. Creed let out an undignified yelp and darted off the bed! He clenched his chest, his heartbeat echoed in every part of his body. His wings extended but curved in.

Vincent dropped the arachnid and it scurried away. "You scared it!"

Creed huffed. "You, You. What is wrong with you!"

Before they could continue, one of the soldiers entered.

"Oh, Divinity, you are awake! Will you be healing today?"

Creed nodded. "Of course."
