The Casalyians are a noble race, maintaining the isolation their mechanical city in the sky affords them. Their abilities and wisdom exceed those of the humans.

But sixteen-year-old Creed Angelus has applied to the Council of for permission to visit with the Humans. His goal is clear and attainable, study the humans to see if his race could live with them.

But some stand in his way. The very same council members who permitted him are now targeting him. Finding offense in his unlikely heritage, they will pursue any avenue to destroy Creed.

 A surge of power erupted through him. The council members grinned in satisfaction. Vincent wanted to fall; the pain was unbearably intense. Shocked by his suffering, Jade broke free of Sizzler's grip and went to her master. 


 Darius looked mortified. Vincent was just an innocent Casalyian, yet here he was using the orb on him. 


 "Yes," Siphon grinned. "Those who align themselves with the traitor shall suffer." 


 "What has Creed and Vincent ever done but serve the King?" Darius asked innocently, but 


 Siphon readied his whip, this time aiming for Darius, who backed down immediately. 


 "We should end the king's family and claim Casalynn for ourselves!" Siphon proclaimed.
