CHAPTER 5

He want to open the door to check what kind of sound is that but at the same time he doesn't want to since he remembered that Sara told them to not go outside after 10 p.m. So he decided to ignore it and go back to sleep. But the sound just become louder by the time and it last for almost 10 minutes. Alex just went to the dreamland as soon as the sound is stop.

*THE NEXT MORNING*

Alex wake up and quickly get ready to have breakfast with Ms. Courtney. While he is taking a bath, he is still thinking about the sound he heard last night. It's impossible to be a cat scratching sound since they didn't have a cat. He keep thinking about it until he heard his brother call him. "When will you finish showering. We have to go as soon as possible." Anthony say from the bathroom door.

"I'm done!!" Alex say to Anthony before going out from the bathroom and put on his shirt. "Hey Anthony." Alex suddenly say while doing his bed. "What?" Anthony answer it lazily. "Did you heard anything last night." Alex ask him since the sound he heard last night may be a dream only but he is sure he doesn't even sleep at that time.

"No, I didn't. Why?" Anthony ask him back because he is confuse why suddenly his brother ask him that kind of question. "Ah... it's nothing actually" Alex just smile awkwardly knowing that his brother won't believe him. "Hmm.... let's go. Don't wanna be late right?" Alex quickly change the topic before Anthony could ever ask him more.

They walk to the same room they went yesterday and having breakfast there. Alex choose to forget about the scratching sound because it might only be his dream.

*AFTER BREAKFAST*

Alex just watching some TV shows in his room while Anthony is having his exploring time trying to explore this villa by himself. Now Anthony seem to be less scared with Ms. Courtney maybe because he is feeling more comfortable with Ms. Courtney. Out of nowhere, he heard some one is knocking on his bedroom door and quickly get up to open it.

Once he open the door, Sara quickly showing her sweetest smile and greet him. "Hi Alex!" "Oh... hi Aunty Sara!" Alex greet Sara back. "Madam told me to inform you guys that you have to get ready since she is planning to take both of you guys to a mall at the nearest city hear," Sara tell him all what did Ms. Courtney ask her to.

"Yay!! We are going out today!!" Alex shouted in joy since he is so bored knowing that he has absolutely nothing to do. "I will get ready as fast as I can" Alex say in so happy voice. "Ok, I will go then. Have a good shopping!" Sara say to Alex. "Oh wait... you are not going to go with us?" Alex ask her since he thought that Sara is going to go shopping with them.

"No. I still have a lot of things to do. Enjoy your shopping later." Sara say before leaving to kitchen. Alex is so excited about the shopping but suddenly he remembered that his brother is not in the room. He quickly go for searching his little brother.

He search for his brother everywhere but doesn't see him anywhere. Alex now is standing at the living room thinking where would his little brother go. Just when he start to continue his searching, he stop since he heard a very familiar voice is calling his name from the front door.

He turn to where the voice is coming and see Anthony is running towards him. "Alex!!" Anthony shouted at him happily. "Where did you had been earlier. I'm searching for you worriedly" Alex scold his brother as soon as he arrived in front him. "I'm sorry but I found a tower at the back of the villa! It is look exactly like a tower in one of the horror story we watched before." Anthony tell Alex excitedly but Alex feel the opposite one. He feel like they shouldn't even go near the tower.

"Alex-" Before Anthony could even finish hid sentence, Alex say " Look! I don't want you to go near the tower. It maybe have some dangers that we don't know. I don't want you to get hurt understand!" Alex warn Anthony. All Anthony can do is just listen to what his brother say to him. He nod and promise not to go there anymore. "Good boy. Now go get ready because mom is gonna bring us to mall!" Alex say to Anthony excitedly. Anthony's eyes light up in excitement.

He run towards their bedroom to get ready. Alex just chuckled seeing his little brother excitement. He then just follow his brother to their bedroom without noticing someone is hearing their conversation just now. The person just smirked and say "You better not go to the tower or maybe you should." The person just laughing evilly before walking towards the back door in the kitchen and disappear.

*AT THE MALL*

"Now both of you can go and buy anything that you want" Ms. Courtney say to the brothers. "Mom, can I buy new video games." Anthony ask Ms. Courtney cutely with his puppy eyes. "Oh... how can some one say no to those puppy eyes. Yes, you can honey." Ms. Courtney say while pinching Anthony cheek. "Yay!!' Anthony shouted happily before running to one of the shop that sell video games.

After they get what Anthony want, they go to supermarket in the mall and buy some groceries. Now they just walked and having small conversation. Ms. Courtney realize that Alex hasn't buy anything for himself. "Alex, why don't you buy anything you want?" Ms. Courtney ask him when she see that Alex look like he doesn't want anything. "Actually I have nothing to buy mom." Alex answer Ms. Courtney's answer politely.

Coincidentally, they are in front of a boutique where Ms. Courtney always but her clothes. "Ok, since you said that you don't have anything to buy, let me buy you new clothes." Ms. Courtney say to Alex. "But-" just before Alex can even finish his sentence Ms. Courtney cut it off "No but. You are going to buy new clothes today and no one can change that." Ms. Courtney say to Alex and drag him into the boutique.

Alex can't say anything so he just follow her into the boutique. After 3 hours of shopping, they decided to go home. They are having a great time together. They entered their bedroom with so much new things that Ms. Courtney bought them. Alex told Anthony to take a shower first and he will packs the item they bought at the mall.
