The British Empire episode 4

Two bandits beared down on Grendel, looking so fierce.

Edgar who hauled them to bear him down, saw how unmoved and courageous Grendel was rooted to the ground, staring at his men as if they were spineless degenerates he would do over in a beat, it looked so as it were.

Grendel drew his sword as the bandits drew near, enough that their weapons could reach him if stretched towards him.

"Come on turds, I haven't got all day." Grendel said. he tested their esteem by play on their feelings,

The bandits hands went into folds. And made the fist crack individually.

The bandits first attacked. swinging their weapons inclined, towards grendels face. He crooked with quick reflexes, the weapons swayed but rendered its impact to nothing, futile was their efforts.

The heavy weapons drove them, leaving them of balance, it had them moving unsteadily to the side.

Grendel sliced open their ribs. blood made it's way out, it made a splodge on the side of their clothing.

they both dropped from an upright position slowly.

Fizzling out each second, loosing control, they reclined to the ground before their eyes turned grey, they died.

Edgar and Matt were unable to believe what had happened even though it did happen right before them, his men were trounced over as if by magic, like weaklings.

"Young Man, you will pay for this one day" Edgar said.

He and Matt descended into the woods, in fear.

Grendel turned towards the lady he helped, Jill was still on the ground, looking at Edgar moving deep into the woods.

Grendel approached her, she wasn't aware.

After trees made away with her view of Edgar and Matt, she turned to see the man who saved her.

"Oh Lord!" Jill exclaimed out of surprise. Jill was startled by Grendel's presence, she thought she would find him at a distant,

Jill inhaled loudly, an act to recollect herself from shock.

Grendel offered her his hand, "so, where are you headed, poor lady." Grendel said and waited for Jill to grip on his hands.

Jill appeared unwilling to take his hand.

"Am not a poor lady!. Jill strained.

Young man, you seem deride in chivalry." Jill added.

She sold grendels hands, and stood on her own, she walked out on Grendel heading towards the castle on bare foot cause her heels broke when she wrestled with Edgar and the bandits, it was unable to be worn, for it has become unstable to walk on.

"Hey lady, I can help you find a place to stay, if you haven't one." Said Grendel.

Jill stoped, backing Grendel she said.

"Thank you.

but am not as wretched as you think.

Am the gallant knights fiancee, perhaps you should know whom I speak of."

She avoided looking at Grendel's face, she never wanted to, good looking men spring up temptation in her, the littlest friendliness towards Grendel could lead to intimacy in no given time, it was all the reason she made it known to him, she was engaged.

"Bretton calunot A.K.A the gallant knight.

He is your fiance?" Grendel asked, seeming a little impressed about her being bretons fiancee.

"Precisely," jill said, she went ahead after that, leaving Grendel behind.

Grendel tailed on her with nimbly steps, to Jill it began to seem as if grendel was making an amative advance towards her, such that will only lead her to sin and more trouble on top the ones she has.

"So.

Grendel cleared his throat.

both of you might have to reschedule your wedding date until Breton is back from the journey." Grendel said,

Thinking Jill wasn't aware, Bretton was chosen as the proprietor for the journey to the golden city.

"We have, but I will be going to the journey with him." Jill said, whilst treading at a steady pace, she never wanted Grendel to catch up with her, a close interaction poses a fall to temptation, she constantly said in her mind as she treaded, one of Kyle foden sayings about tempt.

He that wouldn't fall, shall desist from walking on slippery floor. From the progeny of Michael foden the fodens were made up , in Britain, every progeny is known for a distinct value, like what a pedigree is known for.

The fodens particularly were known to be wise.

Jill didn't reply Grendel, she only thought about Kyle foden's saying, and how it can be implied to her current situation.

"A silent treat, that's what I get for saving your life." Said Grendel, he stood with his hands on his waist.

Those words quenched Jill's bristle on the grassy plains, looking sideways she made as if to talk, but aborted it after an intrusive thought said to her.

" Grendel's words were tactical."

She stood for a moment before she held unto her gown and strode to get away from Grendel.

Grendel gave up, he let her get away, he was without the intent to be more than an acquintant to Jill, but the lady was ignorant of his intentions,

Grendel shook his head whilst watching Jill stride, "she thought I was trying to court her, who in his right mind would ever dare to go after the wife of a knight." Grendel thought.
