''Talk to me, Charles!, Charles!, Charles!,'' Lady Margaret yelled, she squatted on the floor, carrying Charles's head in her arms, his body laid on the ground and his garbs straddled all over the ground, His eye's glowed as though he was oblivious, his body, motionless.

Lady Margaret persevered for an answer, mentioning her husbands name in fear, smacking his cheeks to shove him out of whatever state he might be in. Oblivion, Trance, Daydreaming, Illusion.

All but misunderstanding her husband's condition was what brought in the feeling of fear in Margret, undecided actions, feelings intruding against feelings. She was anxious about what the cause may be, for an impaired lips, motionless body and a glowing eye's weren't normal.

Margaret's fears bolted up, as she snivelled ceaselessly for an answer from his husband.

All she got from Charles were gibberish, Sounds that weren't actual words.

''Guards, Guards, Somebody help!.'' Margaret screamed, the situation had become too complicated to bear, an extra support became a needful.

Margaret waited patiently for help, sobbing and weeping, She had no tint of knowledge on what to do about Charles, her presence was the help she could possibly render to her husband.

-----------------------------------

It Took a long while before anyone came, Lord Aiden the chief castellan, maid-servants and castle-wards all rushed in, everyone scuttling with eagerness, probably the Queen's loud shout sent the castellan's and maiden, running nimbly, her loud shout was a sign of danger, in the castle, many who work there can testify it has never happened before.

''What happened my lady?.'' Lord Aiden asked,

Whilst giving Lady Margaret of Sheffield, a hand, the maids and wards who tailed Aiden into the room diverged to help the king who laid motionless on the floor.

''I have no idea, he just slumped, suddenly.'' Margaret said, while looking at his husband."

''An abrupt slump. That is very unusual.'' Aiden pronounced, after investigating in his mind facts about the king's health, aside from minorities such as headaches, stomach ache's and fatigue, the king haven't been ill for a year, Lord Aiden had the record kept, for it's his job as the chief castellan.

''He was doing well before we went to bed, when I woke up I didn't see him on the bed, rather deposed on the floor with glowing eyes.''

Margaret lamented, it told how intense her worry is, she also had a watery eye and she sobbed strenuously, that gave her a meager neck.

''I think sorcery has a hand in this'' Aiden made a moue of wonder in his face, how could sorcery gallivant about the castle under his nose, Lord Aiden thought, his strict and single minded loyalty to his job made him the all-time best chief-castellan.

But the situation could reduce that title to rubbles.

''Someone summon the physician!, Aiden yelled. I sense something is unnatural about this.'' He added.. If he could beg every one to keep this occurrence a secret, he would do it ,to protect his image, he could be voted out as the chief castellan if the news gets to the ears of the dukes and duchesses of various peerages, that an unnatural ailment struck the king (emperor) to repose.

The finicky dukes of UK peerages could demand to sanction Aiden for failing in his duties, and firing him too.

A servile maid-servant headed towards the door immediately.

She went to summon the physician as Aiden ordered.

The other maids and wards combined efforts to carry Sir Charles onto the bed, the maid-servants and wards all left after that, leaving the job for the physician.

Lady Margaret went and sat next Charles, she closed her hands over his, praying in her mind for his immediate recovery.

''It shall be well soon, my lady. Lord Aiden said, he moved close to Lady Margaret, and he laid his hands over her shoulder.

I will make sure, that happens before dawn, and nobody will know this ever occurred.'' Aiden added, he sucked in a breath deeply and let it out with his frustration.

''Your words make me believe you care more about your prestige than you do for the king's life.'' Margaret said casting scrutiny eyes at Aiden.

Aiden turned away from those eyes, ''What made you say that.'' He asked,

''Don't pretend you know nothing of what I said, Margaret said.

I've marked you down to having self-serving interests in whatever you do.''

Aiden gasped, he was surprised by what Margaret said about him, it's pinpoint and the boldness with which it came.

''I would call that an inaccurate impression.-'' Aiden said.

''Then tell me why it shouldn't be heard by nobody else,

not even the dukes of our peerage.'' Margaret said.

''You know nothing about security my lady.'' Aiden argued.

''Mind the way you speak to me am your Queen, I have the powers to strip you off your job here. She pointed at Aiden.

And I shall make sure that happens when this is over.''

''Why am I laid.'' Charles's voice intruded into their conversation.

''My Lord, you are awake.'' Margaret said loudly, and wrapped her hands on Charles's cheeks, Margaret lingered on smiling and starring happily at Charles, she gave him a peck after a moment.

''How did I arrive here?, I was on a mountain with my mother.'' Charles said, he loured in surprise.

Aiden and Margaret appeared confused his words sent them mowing and looking at one another.

''My Lord you didn't go anywhere, you were here with me all night.'' Margaret strained.

''She handed me a map, where is it.''? Charles asked.

''What map sire.?'' said Aiden

''I don't know what he is talking about.'' Margaret said.

Charles chucked off his blanket abruptly. He went in search of the map tossing around his pillows, blankets to different positions.

He jumped down his bed after he found nothing on the bed, he scrunched to look under his bed, He saw nothing but darkness and the other end beneath the bed.

Violent pacing with his hands and sniffy sounds made him look like a mad man. "Where is it,?" He yelled, behaving as though he wasn't far from insanity.

"What has gotten into you?; searching for imaginary objects." Said Margaret. she griped on Charles's arm, Margaret had the intention, to hold him back from going elsewhere.

"Unhand me woman.!" Charles yelled whilst pacing ruggedly under Margaret's grip,

But Violent pacings weren't enough to break Charles free from Margaret's hands.

"Let him go Margaret." Aiden interfered.

"Stay out of this, it's family matter." Margaret's said.

Aiden had to mellow down.

Charles persevered in pacing around and he attained freedom from Margaret's clutches, he broke free from and ran straight towards the cupboard few meters away from his bed.

He picked up a map that laid under the cupboard, it was as if his life and senses were brought back when he found the map, he knelt down feeling relieved he had found his precious.

He raised the map over his head .

"Behold the road to greatness, with this we shall trample upon our foes. Charles said.

Aiden, send word to whoever it May concern, tell them the preemptive war is to be held....
