Chapter 29: Staying Together or Separating Away

P.O.V Leonard

Silence... It was killing me. So much, I couldn't explain. No one was talking, especially with me.

It was a 5-hour drive to the South-Western side of the deciduous forest. Three hours had passed, and I was staked to stay silent for what I did.

Honestly, I didn't do it on purpose. It wasn't my intention to kiss Anna, but no one understood the feeling of hurting a best friend. When you have a best friend, and you've spent the entire ten years of your childhood, which are rich in nonsense, with them, it's hard to hurt them.

She didn't say anything to me at all. She knew I wouldn't be able to decide, so she did it herself.

She sacrificed for me!

And she just gained even more respect from me in the way she backed away. This one thing broke me. The way she was looking at me, like something you tried really hard to get and now picking it up in your hands, you give it away.
