Two days passed in a blur, and the village awakened to a peculiar sight on the third morning of the week. A crowd of soldiers gathered at the village market. They seemed to be inspecting the village as they went through it. The most of the residents were perplexed as they watched them. They took their time walking through the village, surveying it.
The soldiers gathered at the market's entrance when the villagers awoke and started to flood the market. When a carriage appeared at midday, everyone's attention was drawn to it. The soldiers saluted as the two magnificent stallions that were pulling it came to a stop at the gate. The man steering the horses dismounted and hurried to open the carriage door. The wagon was raised to its normal position when a man with a massive frame climbed out, his bulk sinking the carriage into the dirt. Soldiers advancing from the entrance marched towards him.
