Chapter Twenty

Lisa's POV

"Wake up." I felt a gentle touch on my face and I sat up and rested my head on the wall. It was my mom, she smiled at me.

"Good morning." I greeted with a smile and yawned.

It was already morning already, I wondered why I woke up late.

"Morning sunshine." She said and pulled a strand of my hair.

"How was your night?" I asked scratching my messy hair.

"It was fine, you dad is not at home, he traveled to Singapore for a contract signing this morning."

I couldn't believe that he traveled without telling me, I was offended that he didn't tell me his plans to travel besides, he was not the outdoor type.

I nodded and jumped down from the bed. "Where's Kim?" I asked.

"She didn't come home last night, her room was locked when I tried to check up on her." She answered.

"She was the last person I talked to yesterday, there was no possible way she could have left the house." I said with a frown.

"I'm sure she's not there."
