The war with Senenons

This is how the story goes. From being suspended in a vast open space, the 16 travellers could fly like the angelic figures which guided them. These were mysterious beings, directed by the also mysterious figure known commonly as the Sandbird of light. They illuminated the hoard which resisted the enemy.

A vast, vast army of electronic boxes with red and white flashing lights approaches the group from all angles. These boxes were similar to the one encountered by Seth Smalling. The intent of this oncoming mass was to infiltrate the Ark of Edolane so that the core could be destroyed. Legend has it that the 16, the Sandbird and the mysterious beings lived in a false hope that this had not already occurred in ancient times. From their vantage point, they could see the Ark and the linking passageways, the night sky and the extents of the area known as Earthbound. Most of the Earthbound Realm could be likened to a yellowy-brown haze, which the robots appeared through. The Sandbird had created an invisible barrier around the ark, although this was vulnerable to the waves of red energy which emanated from the robots. The 16 suspended travellers believed that this energy was some kind of virus with electronic capabilities.

The robots zapped 12 of the travellers, who were seemingly obliterated at an instant as no part of their bodies could be seen. The remaining four travellers kept in close contact with the mysterious beings, shielded from harm. The Sandbird of light instructed the beings and the remaining four travellers to link hands and create impressive looking circles which also interlinked to create large tubes of living spirits. The number of beings could not be counted, and the number of travellers was completely insignificant in comparison. Over hours of intense battle, these tubes eventually guided the robots into the senate which had been replaced with a fiery pit over an un-fathomable period of time.

Most of the robots were obliterated by falling either into the pit, or the area known as Earthbound. They were seen to have all of their electronic capability nullified by their fate. They immediately were either destroyed, or became obsolete. The four weary travellers had successfully navigated the Earthbound Realm, despite immensely difficult circumstances.

Not all the robots were accounted for, and some of the power known collectively as Senenons retained influence over the ark after the war which lasted three days. Armand had seen Seth Smalling in one-on-one combat with a terrifying red figure with recognizable human form. He believed that this was the leader of Senenons, whose power had created the mass of incomprehensible evil. Seth was seen to enter the ark closely followed by this strange figure. Armand had also looked directly into a piercing light that resided within this body, which they were to then refer to as the wicked Senenons.
