A Place To Hide

Back at the place where martin is he was about to leave the place where he just met tetra who has blue hair and green eyes girl her height was 5ft 9inch and she was still wearing her sweatshirt but now her headphones were hanging on her neck.

When martin thought about the events which happened he asked cai about the incident of the monster car and jet which led him to this situation "cai why did you bring the jet and monster car when you knew that the police will be notified since you are an A.I. you should have known about these things" he said suspiciously.

Cai replied "at that time I chose the safest way for you to get me out of that situation let me give you my analysis of what could have happened if you used the other way to get me out of there

1- You will have to go back from the tunnel you came from use the battery of your phone and create a big explosion in the weak spot of the tunnel so that I can get out of that place by creating a path above the ground.

It had less than 14% chance of success and from those there was a 86% chance that you will get injured or I could have been damaged and even if 14% chance worked and we both came out of it unharmed there was 95% chance that we will attract monsters who were hiding in jungle and you would have died" explained Cai.

Martin then asked "well we could just left the car behind took you out of there without any harm and we both-"martin was cut off by Cai.

She said "2- you could take me out of the car and move towards the city. I will lose all the control with the satellites and tetra would have found us after that when you try to enter the city.

You would have been unable to enter and even if I created a fake id beforehand the guards would be able to detect me since I can't connect to your phone directly I won't be able to hide myself I would be confiscated and you would have been tortured for information".

Hearing this martin shrugged and said "was there no other choice"

Cai said "yes there was I could have hacked the Nano-tech in tetra but before that I made my move when I only hacked half her satellites…sorry" martin didn't know whether to laugh or cry having a smart A.I. is good but if that so called 'SMART' A.I. make mistake it really makes him think 'why didn't you ask for permission….. Oh I was the one who told her not to ask for permission ha-ha'.

After few seconds tetra came to her sense and looked at martin and said "$#*%#* *$#@$*#&" and hugged him.

martin didn't knew what is she saying so he asked Cai she replies " she thinks that you are her boyfriend I put the commands in her that the first person she sees in front of her will be her most important and trusted person she can even die for him and will never betray him other than that she created her own false memories so get along with what she says and speak what I tell you to it will strengthen the image she created in her head and she will trust you more and don't worry about the A.I. inside her I hacked it and upgraded it to the best of my current abilities it will be loyal to you not the girl tetra".

Martin was shocked he knew that the world is not a good place and he will have to harm others for his own good but thinking about it and doing it are two different things he knew he was not a hero but he was not a villain either.

So he steeled his heart but promised himself that he will not harm this girl since she has nothing to do with him he will compensate her for her loses in future when he is capable enough but now was not the time to think about these things.

So he asked Cai what to do and she told him not to speak for now and go to some electronic store and buy a pair of ear buds which are used to hear songs and talk to people With some other necessary things.

the money was given by tetra since she had a lot of money saved not just online but in her house as well she hid 2billions in a backpack she was using now and the money in this era had a special code but even that won't allow anyone to follow them since they have an A.I. to change the codes of money and use it without being found.

When martin was inside car he asked CAI "Cai why did you made me buy these ear buds and where are we going to hide".

"I bought those so that we can talk to each other with those.

You don't want me to speak in tetras language and tell you what to speak out loud do you? And we are going to the house of a man who hates the system to the core his name is crest he was a soldier 10 years ago when the king launched war on aliens and died.

This kind of war happens every 10 to 20 years and there are casualties every time but the king was not killed by aliens he was killed by his own soldier.

It’s said that he was a tyrant who didn't knew how to rule the kingdom of humans and did whatever he wanted he harmed and killed his own people.

So one of his soldiers had enough of him when the king send the soldiers to war without good weapons and equipment's causing more than half of the army to die.

This was the trigger that the soldier snapped and shot with his gun towards king he knew that the king had the best armor and helmet of them all just to protect himself but there was a gap bellow his chin which was the weak spot of armor.

The soldier shot the king there and he was shot by royal guards both the soldier and king died the remaining soldiers were angry by this but they can't leave the army because they were the only protection of humans against aliens. Due to political reasons the throne was given to the son of the king he was ember who did his best to bring the peace and prosperity in his kingdom back.

But crest who was the brother of the soldier who shot previous king hates royalty he chose this city to live here he will help us live in his house for a few days but you have to say what I tell" hearing this martin was troubled and wanted to ask Cai 'are you my assistant or am I your?'.

When they reached the place they could see that there was no police officer near crest's home or in the area where crest lives so Cai explained "crest hates royals and most of the police in this area knows that if a police officer comes near his house he uses his sting gun on them which doesn't do much damage but gives so much pain that they can't bear it and they are afraid of coming here".

They reached his house and ring the bell after few minutes they hear an old man like voice tetra was hugging martins arm so it was easy to think of them as lovers the old man said (in other language) "what do you two lovers doing in front of my house go bother someone else" then martin said "we arr herre to ask foar halp" (In other language, martin can't speak well in that language).

Old man said "halp? OH…. you mean help you know kid your language is out of this world why don't you try a voice doctor for a change" he thought martin has some voice problems.

Then martin said "I bill do thaat latar foar now cen wee satay herre wee arr beng cased by poliece" (I will do that later for now can we stay here we are being chased by police).

"Hmm… I could let you stay but you see I'm in desperate need of money so if you could give me some I will give you a room with meals and bath but if you were caught by them I will not save you and turn a blind eye OK" old man said.

"OK" martin did not bargain and gave five thousand DC per day and gained a room they had to pay extra three thousand to park their car in his garage per day.

After martin connected his phone and a camera to let Cai see what is happening in room and also connected the machines he bought to create Nano tech using the knowledge inside tetra's A.I. he was told by Cai that it will take a few hours for her to create something which will help martin to understand the language of this era.
