Penthurst Manor had not been occupied for a very long time. Stories about the previous Baron circulated all around. Some say he sold his soul to the devil, while others said he became the devil himself and still walked the earth.

Archeologist Patrick Neville had been drawn to the said stories. For almost 9 years he dedicated himself to solve the Baron's disappearance. Following a torn journal, he unearthed the Baron's residence.

Kristania 'Krista' Vinna Neville was jumping between her Mom's place in Ovido Heights and back to her Dad's mansion in Richmond. Ever since the divorce she had been constantly patronizing her mom's hysterics while her Dad travelled the world. She'd heard of the story about the Baron Lucian and had actually grown a tendré towards the man. No one knew that the man visited her in her dreams. She had contented herself meeting Lucian at night, however, the Baron had grown bolder and seductive. Can she resist his charm and solve his mystery?

I held unto Lucian's hand as we treaded down a slope. There had been some rocky parts that were too difficult to walk on. I almost slipped several times. 


We stepped outside the bushes and into a vast area of land. There were fewer trees here but it wasn't hot, in fact the weather was perfect. 


Across the grassland I saw what looked like stone hedges, they were much bigger than the what I saw in Discovery channel but they looked oddly similar. 


"I called them slates. Come, you have to see them up close." 


The rocks stood about eight feet and was wide enough to resemble a buffet table. Upon closer inspection I noticed they were reddish in color, almost as if they had been covered in mud before. 


I touched the surface and was surprised how smooth it was, I was expecting a rough edge.
