Penthurst Manor had not been occupied for a very long time. Stories about the previous Baron circulated all around. Some say he sold his soul to the devil, while others said he became the devil himself and still walked the earth.

Archeologist Patrick Neville had been drawn to the said stories. For almost 9 years he dedicated himself to solve the Baron's disappearance. Following a torn journal, he unearthed the Baron's residence.

Kristania 'Krista' Vinna Neville was jumping between her Mom's place in Ovido Heights and back to her Dad's mansion in Richmond. Ever since the divorce she had been constantly patronizing her mom's hysterics while her Dad travelled the world. She'd heard of the story about the Baron Lucian and had actually grown a tendré towards the man. No one knew that the man visited her in her dreams. She had contented herself meeting Lucian at night, however, the Baron had grown bolder and seductive. Can she resist his charm and solve his mystery?

I know this is not a perfect novel and everything was just a product of my imagination, I did drew out a few inspiration from the books I've read. Victorian-era novels or anything set around that time has always been a favorite of mine. But I also wanted to combine the present time with it plus a sizzle dazzle of magic, demons, witchcraft and time travelers.
