Exchange of Hearts

It has been two weeks since my Alison had operation. She was now staying at presidential room. 


I was staying with her in and never leave her side. I love her for so long now. Ever since I was a child. It was not a brotherly love. There were so many time that I wanted to kiss her. Tell her that I want us to be together that I want to marry her but I can't too much emotions are bad for her. 


My tears ran down my face. I held her hands, "Baby, please wake up. You know that I'll be very sad if you won't." 


Every moment we had flashed back at me. 


"You know baby, I love you for so long. You are an angel to me. You have the most beautiful face I see. Your smile is like a sunshine. Your presence makes me calm. I don't know of I'll be happy that you need to stay at home since you're doing home schooling because it was limited for you to go out. "I laughed at myself." I'm afraid that may men would see you and fall in love with you. I'm scared and jelous just by thinking that you might fall with other men. You see I'm deeply in love with you. " I cried again because I don't want to see her like this. It broke my heart to tiny little pieces. 


" Baby, wake up please. You need to wake up for me baby. Please. I'm begging for you. You're my air. Your my life. I don't know how I'm going to live without you." 


Then her finger moved. I looked at her. Then she slowly opened her eyes. 


I whipped my tears. "Baby.. Baby, I'm here. How are you feeling? Wait I'll call the doctors and our family." I pushed the botton of the intercom. 


The doctors has examine her. She's okay. Her vitals signs are good. 


His brother Allen is taking up medicine because of Alison. 


She smiled. "Brother Lance, I saw you in my dreams, you are crying. Brother Lance don't cry please. I don't want you to feel sad." 


I have to control my emotions so sad she won't feel overwhelmed. " I'll be sad if your sick." I smiled and caress her cheecks. "So you need to to stay healthy okay. You know that you are brother Lance sunshine." 


"Brother Lance. I love you. Thank you for being here with me." 


As much I want to say I love you to her. I can't so I tapped her forehead. "You know brother Lance love you too so stay healthy baby. When you feel better I will buy you chocolates okay." 


I said in a brotherly tone. And yes, Alison loves chocolates. Same as her mother 


Our family came. Auntie Alishia was very happy to see that Alison is finally awake. She didn't want to go home but she has been so tired. Uncle Adam was so stress also seeing her wife and her daughter like this. Now that Alison is awake, he will feel at ease. 


"Thank you son for staying at her side." Uncle said. 


"Uncle, I would love to do this. I love Alison more than a sister. IF given a chance I would love to propose to her and make her my wife." 


"You know that you can't have a normal relationship with her. I love my daughter and I'm greatful that you still want to stay by her side but I also want you to have your life." 


"Thank you Uncle but, where is Alison is where my heart is."
