17 August, 12040.

Not ten days ago, Darren was attached to a life support system while he remained in a six-month-long coma. After waking, a normal person would most likely still be in the hospital, to recover from the injuries he suffered from being struck by lightning.

A normal person would also need to undergo weeks, if not months, of physical therapy to regain movement in their atrophied muscles. After such a traumatic injury, a normal person would need to relax in order to take time to recover their physical and mental health.

Since he woke up, Darren discovered that he was no longer normal.

Wait, what was the definition of normal for him again?

Six months ago, his normal was certainly not running faster than the speed of sound or flying while shooting electromagnetic radiation from his palms.
