Andy’s POV
The moment I walked into the room and saw her smiling, I knew that everything would be different now. I didn’t even know how to act around her. I felt so awkward and misplaced, I couldn’t even open my mouth and construct a sensible sentence. Embarrassed was the understatement of the year. I was just about to run out, which would probably make the situation worse, when Ro stretched out her hands for a hug. I was immediately drawn to her like a moth to a flame. It felt good to be held by her. I really like you Ro.
“Have you already packed?” she asked as she ruffled my hair. We had been laying on her bed for some time now in comfortable silence. Ro was up to no good as she kept combing her hand through my hair. In a way it always calmed me down an helped me relax. Though this time it felt more like caressing than calming.
“Mom made me pack a couple of days ago. She wasn’t sure when Danny would demand us to leave, so she made sure we were prepared.” I explained.
