Phoebe stood there holding her grounds as if she was frozen. She felt intimidated by Michael who was boring holes in her skulls. His aura sharp and menacing, dark onyx looking through her soul.

She felt scared when Joshua left them alone in a room when he got a call. No Joshua left them deliberately so that they can sort out whatever was there between them because the tension in the room was as thick as a wall.

Phoebe gulped when she notices ravenette rolled his shoulder back and is walking towards her keeping his hands in the pockets, aura dark and cold as sharp as a knife.

Oh my god, what was she feeling it was new, she is scared of a rich spoiled brat staring at him intensely.

It hurts her pride no one I repeat no one dares to stand in front of her without shivering and here she was shivering in the presence of a headass.

Meanwhile, Michael was being entertained when he saw the beauty in front of him is trembling and he can see her hyoid bone elevates and settle down which indicates she gulped visibly because of him, how adorable she was looking as if she didn't diss him in the morning and that surely boosted his ego.

He stood in front of the gingernette who was suddenly finding the floor interesting. Michael didn't like that a bit, he wanted to feast on her beauty, that almond eyes with brown orbs and that rosy velvety lips.

He places his index finger below her chin and made her look at him. Her eyes widened because of their proximity, her heart thumped against the chest.

"I think we have someone to apologize... Right, Phoebe? " Raven head directly questions Phoebe whose smooth skin was doing something in his system as he feels it like it is a smooth butter. Suddenly he was feeling hot. And FYI he is not a pervert again.

Phoebe dared to look directly into the black onyx which made her quiver on the grounds. Those two onyx were black as night an abyss of endless falls, she can see something different but intense which she could not decipher. She should snap out of the trance and blink repeatedly. She almost got hypnotised by those two black onyx.

Took a deep breath she can not lose her cool, just because he looks a little bit intimidating yeah a little. Collecting her confidence she answered back.

"Right... I think too isn't it Michael?" Said male cocked a brow at the side on the mocking tone of gingernette. Thinking this beauty is strong and is so full of herself; it will be fun to break her ego.

A humourless chuckle slips from his lips making Phoebe frown. "Do you think I should apologize for your behaviour .. Hmm Phoebe? "

Phoebe just chewed her lower lips in her teeth. Yeah, she is a good girl momma said so and she wasn't liking this banter. She was thinking should she apologize for her behaviour, but she will not be the only one to do so, not at all.

"I think we both should apologize for our behaviour towards each other, cause it wasn't only me who was acting, you too have an equal share in this " Michael was looking at her red lips which Phoebe was biting not intentionally but it was hot.

"Oh really, But I don't remember any bad behaviour towards you " Michael reluctantly removed his finger from Phoebe's chin.

Phoebe gritted her teeth telling herself to calm down oh but how can she when she can see a mocking expression on ravenette face.

"I think it was me who was acting like a rich spoiled brat right Mr Jonathan? "She says.

Michael just opened his mouth to say something but was stopped when Joshua entered with a short brunette behind him.

Joshua and a short brunette walked in "Michael this is Joe Fireman our executive director "Joe brought his hand to shake with Michael and he gladly accepted.

Joe was short with brown hair, a little button nose with thick plump lips. His skin somewhat green olive Michael wasn't able to define properly.

" Nice to meet you Michael " Ravenette smiled his charming smile which made phoebe hung her mouth open.

" Glad to meet you, Joe... I can call you that? " Joe just nodded.

"Ah, I see you met Phoebe already she is the best secretary you can get Michael I assure you that " Phoebe smirk at the praise she was getting from her senior.

How badly Michael want to wipe that smirk off. "I am looking forward to it " gritted his teeth.

Both older males were able to notice how both younger were glaring at each other. Phoebe was ready to say something back but Joe was fast to take phoebe's hand and pulled her out of the room.

"Joe... My hand is hurting " Joe left his hand softening his gaze looking at his adorable baby sister, I mean not blood-related.

"What was that in the room, you were doing? " Joe asked Phoebe who was pouting and rubbing his wrist.

"He was the one to start... Not me " Joe sighed. He knows Phoebe behaviour towards people she is strict and cold towards people who don't behave well. So he just let it slide.

"Come on let's go, a certain midget is annoying the hell out of me and you are the only one who can handle him" Gingernette chuckled at Joe walking with him to another shorty who claims that he has similar height as Joe.

Just like two days went and Phoebe was now fully assigned as Michael's secretary. He took over the CEO position and board directors were called for the meeting and many of them voted for Michael, not like he had any rival but still, it was voted to know how many directors are at his side.

Phoebe avoided Michael as much as possible, no she wasn't afraid of him, she was just a little intimidated by him, yeah a little. *nervous chuckle*.

It was evening, the sun was at its horizon, pink and red hues were spread in the sky blue sneaking here and there. It was a beautiful site to see with a great view of the city. Phoebe enjoyed it so much, it makes her relax, she drowns herself in colours and she closed her eyes feeling as the chilled wind blows kissing her skin. Keeping her hand on the window railing, she released a deep sigh.

She wants to forget everything that went into her life. She shows she is strong and cold but she is like a coconut, strong from outside and soft from inside.

Recently she was getting calls and texts from Hwang hye soo. She was hiding well but suddenly a day he popped out of nowhere when a business meeting was called out to attend. She saw him there, Phoebe knew very well the expression she saw on Hwang's face made her scared the life out of him. She just stood whimpering mess not being to comprehend the situation.

She gulped at the memories of her past. She does not want to relive that time again.

Her sight became blurry as tears filled in those blue orbs which are hidden behind the brown lens. Tears rolled down her cheeks and a sob was released through her beautiful lips. She put her hands on the lips trying not to let the sobs out openly in the office. She looked here and there to see if someone noticed her or not. She sighed in relief that no one had seen her.

But how wrong she was when a certain revenette looked at her from far. A frown visible on his face when he saw tears rolling down the beauty. He felt bad for her even though he doesn't know the reason why the beauty was crying. He just wanted to hold her in his arm and kiss her pain away.
