CALLISTER

Some photos slipped out of it. In almost every photo I could spot my father. I was confused. I had never expected that she would forgive him. She would miss the man who left her alone with a seven year old boy to feed. He just left without giving the slightest hint that he was going to do this. She kept his photos this meant that she missed her and she still loved him. Mom hid her feelings for 8 years. Was I not worthy sharing feelings? Was I not mature enough to understand and respect them? Out of anger and perplextion , I held the photos just as I had held the chit. I didn't tear them just because maybe they were the reason that kept her alive and surviving , maybe she survived because she hoped that one day "he" would return. Tears rolled down my cheeks and dropped on the photograph. "This is not the time to weep like kids." I wiped the tears off my cheeks and was going to do the same with the photo. The tears had fallen on the edge of a photograph. In the photo "we"( my father too ) had gone to the zoo. It was dated 29 July 2012. A day before "he" left us. I wiped the tear off and as I did that, I spotted something/someone. It was peeping as if keeping an eye on someone. I brought the photo near my eyes to see if could see it clearly. It was not clear. I knew that mom still loved him so I had a responsibility to bring him back or to know why he had left. Was that intentionally or was he forced? Did he ever try coming back? Is he alive? I had to get the answers of these questions not for me but for my mom.

I took the keys and the photographs and locked the door. I started searching for a cyber cafe. I never had any work that required the need of a cyber cafe so I had no idea where to find one. I was roaming on the streets. I enquired a man regarding the cyber cafe. " go straight then take the first right and the first shop that you will see is a cyber cafe. He also has a scanner."

"Thank you uncle." I headed straight. As, I walked a few steps from there a thought came to my mind. "Was mentioning the scanner necessary? How does he know I require a scanner?" I turned back and there was no sign of him. This was very strange. I entered the cyber cafe and asked the man to scan the photos so that I could zoom in the photo and see what/who it was. I sat on a chair infront of the computer and the photos appeared infront of me. I zoomed in to see what it was. It was a hat labelled "CALLISTER". I searched other photos. In one of them father was using a handkerchief it was also labelled " CALLISTER". I searched the web to see what was "CALLISTER". It appeared infront of me CALLISTER .....
