The Second Interaction.

"Host." Kroff spoke to Hazel.

No answer.

"Host!"

Hazel snapped out of her daze. "Huh?! Wut?

"Now is your chance to earn style points! That man is struggling on his own, so you help him and bam! Impressed."

"A-AH! Yes! Correct." Hazel closed her eyes and put her facade on.

Lix was right now struggling against the 3 mutants. Lix could defeat them if they had normal powers, but 2 of them had enhanced speed and the other had a harden ability. He was about to strike, when a figure jumped out from the house.

It was the beautiful girl with the weird getup. Her expression was serious and was radiating coolness. Her actual thoughts were however," Oh My God! Hes SO HANDSOME! *fangirling noises* asxpfessssxevc."

Hazel wasn't wrong to think of that, the Lix was really handsome and had modeling agencies come to him time and time again.

"Ding! 1+ style point!" The system said.

"Ah! Yes! Finally!" Hazel thought.

Hazel grabbed one of the speed enhancing mutants, and used all her strength to throw it into a cement wall. The mutant was stunned for a few seconds, but that was all Hazel needed. She dashed in and used the point of her whip to stab the zombie through the forehead.

"Ding! 1+ style point."

"Hehehhe..." Hazel laughed in her mind.

She turned back to the man, who was finishing off the harden ability mutant user. She dashed again and took the last kill.

"Ding! 1+ style point."

"Hehehehehhe...." Hazel thought. But she snapped out of it to face the man.

Lix was a bit stunned, but he quickly regained his posture.

"Ah, thank you?..." Lix asked.

"Ru."

"Ah, thank you Ru. I'm Lix."

"Mmm." Hazel was about to leave, when Lix stopped her by grabbing her robe.

"Ah, sorry." Lix let go. "But um...what's with the outfit?" Lix wanted to find out more about Ru, but he couldn't think of any questions that made her suspicious of him.

Hazel did all she could do to stop her mouth from twitching. She knew that yes, her outfit was cringy. And she would curl up in a little ball in her mind and roll around whenever she met someone in the fort. Up until now, the only person who asked the embarrassing question was a hot guy.

"...Reasons." Hazel quickly came up with this excuse, and hurriedly ran away to get the cat food.

"Ah...." Lix reached his hand towards her but it was too late. He could only get up and

get food.

---------------

Hazel ran to a supermarket, and quickly grabbed an expensive bag of cat food. Along with treats, toys, litter boxes, and wet food. She fought 5 more zombies, then grabbed a brown traveling bag as she ran away.

By the time Hazel was home, she was panting so hard from running and the cat was trying to comfort her.

"Ack *Cough* thanks...." Hazel didn't have a name so she made one up on spot. "Vu." She made that up because her fake name was Ru, and she wanted cute similar name with hers.

After setting all the things down, she heard a notification from the system.

"Ding! You have completed Get cat food: 1/1."

"Hm? Kroff why did you appear so late?"

"I don't think you would have heard me, when you were running."

"...You got a point."

Hazel grabbed water from the well, and took another bath. She realized something.

"Kroff where's my reward!" Hazel would hate to think she went though all that trouble, just to get no reward.

"The system was doing something. Here. Reward: 2+ style points, lucky card 1x"

"Huh? What's a lucky card?"

"A lucky card is a card that helps, the host in moments of danger. Say you were about to be bitten by a zombie, if you had the lucky card on then the zombie would trip to the side and you'll be safe."

"What?! That's so OP! It's like a life saving device!" Hazel looked at the lucky card carefully, then put it away. The lucky card just looked like a normal playing card, but the ends had yellow on it.

After Hazel was day dreaming in the bath, she asked the system another question.

"Why are the humans so unlucky?" Asked Hazel.

"Unlucky?"

"Like, no matter how strong they are. One hit from a zombie and you'll become infected."

"That's not really the case."

"Huh?"

"You see, zombies infect people and almost all of them turn into zombies. Making people assume one hit from a zombie is death. But that's not the case, People with strong constitutions or people who are generally strong have a higher chance of not being infected."

"Really?!" Hazel asked, shocked by the answer.

"Yes."

:o (Hazel's face)

Hazel then got up, changed into her pajamas then started bonding with Vu.
