COVER BLOWN

Next day I got up at dawn and woke maa up to give me breakfast. Maa told me that there is no food left except a piece of bread. I got worried that I have a wanted tag on me, how would I be able to sell crisps in market. While I was thinking this door knocked. Maa asked "who it is?". "Abdul Salaam, aunt." cousin replied. Maa opened the door. Abdul Salaam came in and closed the door behind him. Maa did the same thing aunt Sofia did. She hugged him and invited him to breakfast just a piece of bread maa left for me to eat in todays breakfast. But the reply came "no thanks, aunt. I came here after finishing the breakfast. I just came to take Farad for a bit outing. Can I?" maa smiled and gave the permission. I went out with Salaam taking the crisps with me in case someone buys. As I put my foot on the last stair of my doorstep maa called me. I went in and asked what happened. Maa pointed at the bucket and said "there is no water. Can you fetch some water before you go with Salaam?" I picked up the bucket and the rope and went to the well with Salaam. During the walk to the well, I asked the question that was roaming in my mind since Salaam came" Salaam. How did you know where is my house?" he replied "simple. I asked someone on my way that do you know Farad's house? He pointed at your house and I came straight away." "means our cover is already blown!" I screamed in a low voice. He asked "which cover?" I fetched the water to the home and started off with Salaam. On the way to café he said "oh! I forgot where is your father?" I became silent. He said "dead?" I said "no. (sigh) In prison." "what? For what crime he is in prison?" he said. Then I first took promise that he will not discuss it with maa. And then I told him the whole story. Then I said "I don't have any idea how to release baa from prison. Can you help?" he said "of course. First, the one thing I know is that the ruler's men will find you both sooner in your house. So I say that... but for that I will ask my mom. I suggest that you come and stay in our house until your heat cools down. Then second thing that till you shift to our house what about I go at your place to sell crisps in market. And the third that I will help you at every step to release your father. How's that?" I moved my head up and down and asked a question "but aren't you also having a cop heat?" he said "of course yes. But not that much that the police are dreadfully behind me. He took the crisps from my shoulder and went to the market. I went back to home and told maa that Salaam has took the crisps and went to sell at market. Maa went to the kitchen to fetch water for me.
