Not Perfect (1)

"Agnus." Arden called out when he saw that his brother was staring blankly at the floor. Who knew what kind of crazy thoughts were going on inside his head?

Agnus blinked back to reality. He was immediately annoyed.

The rabbit girl obviously doesn't like him and she moved out to another room when he went to visit last night. This was simply slapping him in the face, ah.

"This rabbit wants nothing to do with me. Should I kill it?" He said aloud. It was the best solution for most of his problems and he was always at peace when he got rid of the sources of his frustration.

But just the idea of killing this rabbit girl made him feel a little uncomfortable... this kind of feeling was usually not there. He was still so fascinated by this creature.

The rabbit girl is a bit special afterall. Just a bit.

No one has scolded him in a polite manner before.

Even Arden the idiot would often shout at Agnus. And those idiotic nobles would harp and buzz about him behind his back like bees.

Agnus isn't very happy. Just remembering it makes his mood sour.

Their voices weren't even nice and they were so ugly, it makes him want to puke.

If only their voices can be as soft as his rabbit girl.

If only they could be as docile as his rabbit girl.

Ah..

Did that mean... he can't kill the rabbit girl? Ah, atleast not yet. He was still interested and curious. Just wait until he gets tired of her then just kill the rabbit girl.

"I don't know you nor do I wish to be your disciple. For one thing, I prefer to have a master who has a credible background and pleasant personality. Not someone who will enter my room without permission every other night. I won't accept a suspicious person hiding behind a mask as my master. Visiting late at night without revealing one's identity. It's simply the act of a degenerate who disregards social etiquette and propriety. Even a cat knows common sense."

Agnus frowned. So what if he was suspicious? He has no plans on revealing his identity. She wasn't worthy. She was only a rabbit girl!

And why did she not want to be his disciple? He is the Archduke! And the genius mage, Lord Reinstrom! His status alone was something others would want to covet.

And what's this? A pleasant personality..? His looks were more than just pleasant! But, ah. He is unable to reveal himself just yet.

Was she vain?

Just like her insect friend?

Even with a mask, he is very handsome! And she was comparing him to a cat? He was a million times better than a four legged creature who only knows how to eat and sleep!

She also doesn't like that he's visiting her? It's was her honor to house him as a guest!

This rabbit girl has a lot of demands! He would put her head on a pot, then she would stop being so demanding. He would teach her a lesson this time!

"Agnus.." Agnus ignored Arden, leaving the room with a sinister smile on his face.

Arden stared blankly at Agnus' retreating back.

Hey, he was still the Emperor! Come back, you brat!

Ah, forget it. He has a lot of paperwork and since that brat has uncovered the illegal activities of the Mage Tower, Arden's paperwork hasn't stopped piling recently.

His chancellor, Perdi, came back with a hateful glare.

"Your Highness, am I wrong to assume that none of the papers had been signed yet?"

Arden wanted to hide in the hole. This damn workaholic was going to kill him...

"Please remember your position, your Highness. I'm afraid we'll have to work overnight to complete the remaining papers. "

Arden suddenly want to call Agnus back.

Drive this demonlord away!

Ellendise was very, very depressed. She found out a very ugly truth just recently.

It started when she first consulted her father, the Count, about swordsmanship again. She was soon sent to the Viscount's mansion to start training immediately.

Letia was so happy to see her and Ellendise was also equally happy to see the pure girl.

Ah, yes. All her worries would go away just seeing the female lead's pure smile. She once again understood the reason why so many was bewitched by this bunny girl.

She was simply adorable and her pure heart was rare. Ellendise was very motivated while training with Letia. Seeing your golden thigh improving by leaps and bounds made her feel refreshed.

However, she failed so miserably at swordsmanship that it was humiliating. Although she has good footwork but her messy swings and clumsy handwork stopped her from fully executing any proper sword stance.

Add to the fact that her ten year old body was weak as hell, it made things even harder for her. Since she would perform yoga exercises every morning, she was very flexible, however, it was nothing against raw strength and power.

Swordsmanship was all about strength and technique.

She knew the technique but lacked the strength to do it. In other words, she sucked at is so much that she was even worse than her cousin, Valrug.

The ginger had laughed at her and mocked her, enjoying her misery and suffering.

"So it turns out that Ellen is also bad at something! Haha! Now this proves that you're human!" Laughed the obnoxious little guy.

What did he think she was? A foreign invader from the netherworld?

Ellendise felt sour for a few days at her weak potential for the sword but she gritted her teeth and endured the training for days while also receiving taunts from her cousin.

Ellendise would immediately turn to Letia, who was her saving grace and would always cheer her up and motivate her when Ellendise was down.

"Lady Ellen, you can do it as long as you never give up!" Cheered the ten year old female lead.

Ellendise who was bone tired and weak was so moved by this girl's words that she was once again motivated to work hard.

Unfortunately, the cold hard truth was undeniable and immediately destroyed any hopes of her being able to practice swordsmanship.

"Ellen, I'm sorry to say this but you're body is unsuitable for swordsmanship. You lack the foundation and talent to practice the sword. I suggest learning archery or learning how to use a whip instead. Or better yet, just focus on improving your magic." The Viscount said mercilessly one day though he did try to say it in a gentle manner as to not hurt her fragile feelings.

Though she looks like a child, she was still mentally older. She wasn't as hurt as she expected but it did made her feel depressed for a few days.

She was so absentminded recently that even her tutors had noticed and were approaching her about it.

Ellendise sighed heavily.

Sure enough, even a transmigrator like her who had lived for thirty decades and a half is not perfect.

It made it all the more embarrassing for her.
